Yes, it is very similar, if not the same, as ballistic/tempered glass you buy for the face of your phone. As I purchased this, I told myself there is a sucka born every minute. You're here reading this review for the same reason I purchased it...you want to feel safe, and this adds an additional level of comfort. I was constantly checking my camera for hair line scratches, just as you do I'm sure. Go ahead and purchase it, it will bring you peace.We all want to believe the camera lens is made from magical sapphire that will never scratch, but yet here we are checking it daily to be sure...spend a few dollars and enjoy your life.

After reading all of the positive reviews, I was excited to get these lenses. However, they are not applied the same way as shown in the pictures. It comes on a pad and you just peel it off. The glass lenses is warped and doesn't lay down over my camera lense. Half of the protector doesn't even stick to my camera lense. It doesn't stick well. I can literally bump it with my finger and it moves. I used the alcohol wipes and dry wipe as instructed. Absolutely no luck.The half of the lense that did stick doesn't seem to interfere with the camera. If these adhered better and held in place, they would be amazing. However, as of right now, I wouldn't order them again. They are useless.1.) Warped glass causes half of the protective lense to not adhere to the lens.2.) It moves and slides around very easily causing it to fall off.3.) Application isn't easy. You will get oil, dust, fingerprints on the sticky part of the lens if you don't have super clean hands and aren't careful with handling.

No instructions but if you don't know how to put a screen protector on that you specifically bought for the camera lens then you are a dummy! Great protector for camera, don't have to worry about scratching it now.

Not too impressed. Comes with no directions, the first one didn't stay on at all, and the second one is barely staying in place. I wouldn't be surprised if it fell off in a day.

Works well but was a pain to get on. No air bubbles or dust under it. Just clean and clean it again before putting it on. It does add a bit of lens flare to photos taken in bright sunUpdate. It fell off so keep checking for it if you use it

came with two glass protectors which was important - the first one completely failed and slid off my camera lens within seconds. the second one stayed on and within the 5 days of having it, is no longer on my phone anymore. so it was crap.

This is great!! At first i thought with some bubbles in the lens that i was gonna be dissapointed but it takes at least 24 hrs for the glue (or whatever it is ) to settle . so i just kept slightly rubbing the bubbles out... but the next day they disapeared and it is now a permanent part of my camera lens
