Stopper not air tight
Bought these to make home made ginger wine and thought fab but when one accidentally toppled over I discovered they don't form a tight seal when i had a sticky mess to clean up

Sturdy glass, but the wire cage tarnished quickly.
The glass bottle is sturdy enough and it has a ‘traditional’ shape, so it’s pleasing to look at and doesn’t look out of place in the kitchen and fridge.I found that the coating on the wire closing cage tarnished very quickly, which was disappointing. I would only recommend that these bottles are washed by hand and not in a dishwasher in order to minimise the risk of this happening.
