I would recommend this product everything worked as should and all parts were in kit used on a m54b30

2002 BMW E46 330Cic 188K miles. Needed to replace my leaking valve cover gasket. Knew I had the Vanos rattle so figured I'd rebuild it at same time. Took about 4 hours to do and can be messy because of oil. All the parts in kit fit except for the crush washers. Too big for Vanos oil line and too small for Vanos plug crush washers. Just reused old crush washers. Really amazing, the horsepower now is extremely noticeable. It's totally worth doing on higher milage BMWs. Now I have to do this on my X5. Would use this kit again.

All the parts installed fine. You need to take care and have patience when performing this overhaul.Some forearm strength is required when installing the silly little plugs but they go in. Gaskets all fit

This kit is very complete and it's the best solution for a dirty or clogged vanos. I've done on my 2 BMWs.

Both o-rings on the pistons in the intake and exhaust side are too big it wouldn’t allow the piston to sit flush.. it’s too tight that you can’t even move or rotate both pistons after the install. Don’t buy this knocked off stuff from china. I would not recommend this product. Now I gotta buy another one different brand from diffent seller. I would love to return this product. Oh and one more thing I’m missing one washer with this kit.. the washer was not really a big deal it’s the fitment that made me write this review. I hate doing the job twice waste of time and money.

My kit came torn up in the packaging but all the pieces were there. I was able to rebuild the vanos and the car runs with no issue. I did this as preventative maintenance when doing the head gasket
