I first became aware of this style of hand truck when I observed professional couriers working for the big, known shipping companies using them as a sort of light weight, one-box adjunct to the big heavy commercial hand trucks. they carry for bigger jobs. I figured if those guys are using them, they are worth looking into. So I got me one.In three or four words, it does the job. Mind, a good tool works properly: a bad tool does not. It's "binary": there are no gradations. This is a good tool. It is sturdy, lightweight, carries the loads I have asked it to carry. I.E. a good tool at the price. I don't know if it meets the 170 lb. specification it advertises, as mostly I move boxes of books weighing from 25-50 lbs. But for my lighter-weight needs, it's the right tool for the job at the right price.

I purchased this to help me carry items back and forth to my husband's Cancer Doctor appointments, he had a Stem Cell Transplant in August and cannot lift anything. I've had 2 shoulder surgeries and a complete hip so I thought this would help lighten the load.This isn't what it says. It's flimsy and bag falls over there's no way to strap the back on top so it stands upright. There's Velcro on the bottom but no where else.Also it keeps folding up while in use.

This is the 2nd time we purchased this product. We bought this for our son in college. After ther test ended he had to transport his belongings to storage. This worked like a charm. While everyone else struggled to get their refrigerator, microwave etc, it was a piece of cake for him. Sooo we ordered another one for our younger son when he left for college. It was just what wer needed to move him into the dorms. Excellent product. I love how sleek and durable it is. It folds up so small. 5 STARS from us!.

While I have a heavy duty handtruck, it is stored outside the house and is a pain to lug in, which is where this Portable Folding Aluminum Hand Truck comes in handy. Since this is foldable I am able to leave this in the house and out of my way. I would not use this for anything extra heavy but it works great for just moving boxes and things within in the house. Overall good household product, but am not sure about using it for larger items.

This cart is well built, as far as the frame. The wheels and wheel supports are lightweight. I would say you should not carry more than 40 lbs on this cart. The wheels are plastic wheels with very hard plastic "tires" which makes it run rough on concrete. I used this cart about six times to carry items to my boat, maybe 200 yards and never more than 40 lbs. The bolts that hold the wheels on lost their nut and came out. It needs a threadlock on the nuts, like locktite, which should be done as soon as you receive it. The bolt and nut is 1/4" x 28 thread should you need to look for one, as I did. I use the cart on the ramps and dock to haul stuff to my boat. It's great for this because it is all non corrosive and it folds into a very compact package. It's a great little handcart for the price if you don't overload it.

It's cheaply made. I will be testing it's durability this year, if it holds up.

Used cart to move my apartment last month. Works well over uneven surfaces. Needs a little help with heavy loads. You cannot just pull back with the handle. Still going strong. Purchased a folding crate and now using for groceries. Light and folds up small.

The base of the trolley does not lock into place, which means that it spontaneously collapses onto the heavy backpack I purchased it to support. I tried using it for a week, but it was more hassle than it was worth. If I could have returned it, I would have, but Amazon now requires that we return items onsite, but provides inadequate parking for people with disabilities at the store in my area. So the trolley people get to keep their money for a hunk of plastic (yes, plastic!) that is sitting in my yard waiting for a trip to the dump.
