Great chicken taste with no chicken!
This Jada Spices Chicken Salt is a perfect seasoning powder, especially good in my homemade soups. Since this is a vegan product, it is safe to season foods for people who have a chicken allergy, as there is no chicken in it.I prefer the reduced sodium variety because I think it has more flavor than the regular variety. Be aware that youโre only getting a small3 oz. bottle for the $8.99, which is the only drawback. It is way overpriced for what you are getting, so it is not a particularly good value. (Iโd like to see the price go lower someday). But the flavor is very good! A few shakes of this powder added to a recipe can easily replace using chicken stock or chicken bouillon in a recipe.

Love this
Iโm a vegetarian and use this when I cook rice. It colors and flavors it nicely. People always ask what I put in to make it so tasty.

Not enough flavor for me
ok dumb complaint time! there is not enough salt in this low salt product, I love the chicken flavor and the price and the quick delivery. I also buy tumeric salt from this vendor and love it so this one is on me. I need fully salted salt and for the moment I don't have to cut back on salt so I am going back to regular salt salt. I like this company though and appreciate them offering a low salt option even if it isn't for me.

Better Than Trader Joe's Chickenless Seasoning
I am at the end of my Trader Joe's Chickenless Seasoning Salt, so I have it on hand to compare with Chicken Salt Reduced Sodium. I have to say the Chicken Salt tastes way better than Chickenless in a side by side comparison, which surprised me. Along with that, Chickenless has 320 mg of sodium per 1/4 tsp. while Chicken Salt Reduced Sodium only has 244 mg sodium per 1/4th tsp. So it's a win-win all the way around! While Chicken Salt is considerably more expensive than Chickenless was, it is worth it to have it on hand compared to nothing, since Trader Joe's Chickenless was discontinued. I like to sprinkle it on mashed potatoes as a pseudo-gravy with a little butter, so it works well for me to still have that option. I am so glad I found this product. ๐๐ป

Tasty
Delicious on popcorn. You only need a little for a strong flavor. Will definitely buy again!

Yummy, but why no sodium-free version?
This tastes very good and is a somewhat useful ingredient for vegan cookery, especially for anyone who is avoiding nutritional yeast because of glutamates.I appreciate that this is a lower sodium version, but it is still too salty. I would like to use a lot more of it in my chicken-style dishes, but can't. Sometimes the other sodium sources in a recipe cannot be reduced and the chicken salt just makes it all way too salty. Even by itself, you can't get enough flavor without the saltiness being overpowering.I don't know why they can't make a version with no salt. I've never understood ingredients like this: Why use celery salt, not celery powder or garlic salt, not garlic powder? Shouldn't the cook control when and how much salt to add?I wish that I could figure out the ingredients and do it myself. Again it is tasty.

Good flavor even over salads, veggies
Love it on ANY meat or protein! His is not bullion. Itโs a yellow salt with a chicken flavor.

Tastes just like chicken ramen
I use this to make homemade ramen noodles. Delicious! I've also added it to brothy soups and potato soup. It's very salty though, so don't use too much! Can't imagine how salty the regular version must be.
