You have to careful removing the seat back to get to the emblem position.
You will need some type of small clamp to make the emblem hold. The plastic backing will not hold it by itself.

It does fit on 2017 CTS seats.
This was a replacement for the decal that had broken off of my driver's side seat. The prongs aligned with the holes in the seat and it snapped in place with no problems. It is pretty thin so be careful installing or it might snap.
