Good quality cable works as advertised.

I like this cable. I was happy enough with it to buy a second after I installed the first. The connectors can be a bit difficult, so this is not great for repeated plugging in and unplugging, but my experience is that this is true of any Molex connector, even the ones that came with my high-quality power supply.My only real complaint is that, as other reviewers have said, the cable is not quite 18" long. It is close if you measure from the tip of one connector to the other, but if you are counting on this to span any longer than a 16" gap, I would look elsewhere.As long as you know about the length and plan to install it and forget it, I would recommend this cable. The sleeve is the same quality as on my Corsair power supply, and it looks very nice in my case.

Just what I needed to power some remote computer lights.

I build servers and high-end gaming systems. One three particular builds, I was building some AMD workstations based off of the Asus Crosshair V Formula Z mobo's. They require and extra 4-pin molex for power stabilization to the CPU voltage regulators. For some odd reason on these boards, that molex connector is way out in the middle between the CPU and PCIe bus slots. It's not easy or aesthetically pleasing to route a bundle of PSU cabling up to that point for 1 connection.--> This little extension cable not only is the perfect length, but is has sufficient quality gauge wire and sleeving to meet the needs. The black is nice as it blends in nicely with my build. It's well built and of just the right length to be of use but not in the way.If you're trying to get a device powered-up in a tall cabinet/tower case or if you need to use a mobo that uses this extra power connector from Asus, then just get this one.Will post photos later this weekend.

Nice Molex power extention cable. The black sleeving is nice, so you don't get the ketchup and mustard wire cable look in your case.
