I modified (cut the blue one it and rubber cemented it) it to fit my needs at look great and creates a tight seal for washing machine hose.

The drain still smells

I had a smell coming from washing machine drain pipe in laundry room. This pipe hose eliminated this odor. I am very pleased!

I bought this to make a tight fit of my washer's drain hose to an overhead trap made of 2" PVC pipe. I bought this to prevent the sudsy overflow that sometimes occurs if too much detergent was used. The dimensions on the photos say that the O.D. of these plugs is 1.97". In reality, the O.D. is more like 1.8" at the outermost edges of the ribs, a loose and sloppy fit. I bought these plugs to seal the drain hose on my washing machine. The plug does fit into the drain pipe but the opening in even the smallest sized plug is too big for the drain hose. My setup is a brand-name washer with a normal washer drain hose. Do not buy these if you are using them for a washer drain hose that empties into a standard USA washer box. They will not fit!
