You can select a bevel angle up to 56 degrees, letting you cut much more than simple straight planks. You can also change the depth, which is important to reduce lumber kickback. An LED light near the front will shine on your subject while casting minimal shadow, letting you work in dimmer environments than usual. Good tool, Great price..
I'm a corded power tool guy, but thought this was a good way to dip into the cordless world without spending to much money. I like the idea of getting a thoroughly tested item and giving second chances lol. Tool works fine,exceptional run time. Use a good blade, if you want any kind of decent performance. Far exceeds what I spent in terms of cutting ability & run time.

I've been a big fan of and sold ridgid tools for many years. Mitre stops. Bevel and depth change is super easy. Allen key built in. Extremely good quality for the price.

Buyer Beware!
Great tool, quick shipment, packed in original box. BEWARE that there is NO WARRANTY whatsoever from Ridgid if purchased from this seller since they are a 3rd party reseller and not directly from Home Depot even though it was packeged in original unopened packaging and delivered in Home Depot shipping box from Amazon. NO WARRANTY, NOT EVEN THE STANDARD 3 YEAR, MUCH LESS THE LIFETIME

I ordered the circ saw to complete my rigid set. I hadn’t checked them out in the store but knew it would be fine as the other tools are very useful and useable.

Call Rigid Customer Service Before you buy if the Life Time Warrantee is Important to you.
The saw works like I new it would, no problems, BUT You cannot get the Life time Warrantee if you buy it here. That is if the vendor is ICM Outdoor Innovations. I called Rigid customer service after I bought it should have before.The lady a very nice person checked they're List of Authorized venders and ICM Outdoor Innovations are not on the list. So no Lifetime Warrantee. The Battery I bought from a different vendor was the same no deal.

Great circular saw!
I've used this saw on a couple of projects around the house and it worked flawlessly. Being battery operated, the blade stops on a dime as soon as the trigger is released. That took some getting used to because I felt like I was doing something wrong. I'm used to the blade spinning to a stop like with the corded variations. Speaking of batteries... all of my power tools are the Rigid brand so it was nice not having to buy an additional battery. I like the safety feature on the trigger so there's no accidental blade activations. I highly recommend this saw and Rigid produces good products. Perfect if you're looking for a good circular saw that doesn't require an outlet.

Great cordless saw
Great price. Recommend getting a 4 or 5 amp hour battery, as I found the 2 amp hour batteries would only make about 6 cuts on 48 in laminate flooring. The saw itself is well constructed and I have enjoyed using it.
