Porter Cable 514007535 Miter Gauge Assembly

Q: Some comments say the rod on this item is 5/8" wide, and some say the rod is 3/4" wide. Is someone able to answer this question definitively?

The precise width is 23/32" / .71875 / 18.26mm which means it is to be used in a 3/4' slot but also note it is precisely 1/4" / .250 / 6.35mm thick and most 3/4" table slots are 3/8" in depth. I purchased this for a older Delta bandsaw with a 3/4"wide x 3/8" deep slot and it works great after I simply hot glued in a 3/4"w x 1/8" aluminum flat stock then sanded smooth with the cast iron table being careful to only sand on the aluminum and not my table. Super good value on this all aluminum item. Hope this helps.

Q: Does this fit for Craftsman 10" table saw?

i would NOT use this on a tablesaw. it's very small, meant for a band saw.
