NECA PREDATORS Series III Predator Hound 18cm

I am finally getting around to reviewing the NECA Predator stuff that I ordered last year, and this is one of the many things that I ordered last year. Paint, the paint is good on this figure, the spines are a nice bone-like color, and the color of the body closely resembles an Alligator or a snake etc. Sculpt, the sculpt on this pretty much resembles the hounds seen in the movie, they even added some weird antenna-type things hanging off of his back. Articulation, for articulation on this guy I will just rate it 1-10, and ill give him a 9.5. Accessories, Nothing, but what would he have come with anyway! I admit that when I first bought this dog-lizard thing, I was not expecting such an impressive figure, considering that these monsters are only in the film for about 10 minutes. However, I was proven wrong, this is a great purchase.The first thing to be aware of is that this guy is much bigger than he looks in the picture. He's actually about half the size of a Predator figurine and like them, is incredibly detailed. The bones jutting out of his face and back look suitably gruesome (and are rather sharp too so watch yourself) and his maw looks pretty unpleasant. The articulation of this figure is rather staggering, considering it's from NECA. His legs, torso, feet, head and mouth are all movable.This figure may not be a Predator but he deserves a place in any fans' collection regardless. The paint job is marvellous, the movement surprisingly varied and the visage very alien and awesome.

The first non-predator or alien creature released in the Predator line by NECA. The Predator Hound is highly detailed and very posable made a durable studry plastic perfect for display this one looks a lot better outside of the package alongside your predator collection. I wouldn't recommend this as a toy however unlike some of the other earlier predators by NECA this one is probably the least likely to break it however does have some long horns which can be an issue for younger kids but either way this is a great product and I got it for under $5 plus shipping so I got a great deal. Highly recommended to any Predator fan or collector.

it's too big to be a toyit poses nice thoughi have dozens of halo mcfarlane & gears of war, predators are by far the biggest and with the most detailweapons are a bit flimsythis one has a lot of articulationshe would look cool paired with a warrior bug from starshiptroopersmade a leash of chain , wire , seals and added the dog to the green pred :)i'm looking for affordable aliens, anyone ?
