NLT Large Print Premium Value Thinline Bible, Filament-Enabled Edition (LeatherLike, Garden Pink)

I got this bible as a sort of companion to my NIV study Bible, thinking the NLT is very readable and easy to understand. What I didn't know is that it's enabled to link up with Filament, which is an amazing (free!) bible study app. The combination has propelled me to much greater understanding with the different tools in the app (study notes, maps, videos, etc.). If you're on the fence with this (or any Filament enabled bible) let me heartily encourage you to go for it! Additionally the large font is comfortable for extended reading and the light weight and comfortable flexibility of the cover make this a wonderful bible to curl up with on the couch. I can honestly say my bible reading has gone up and my mindless scrolling has gone way down!

Large print perfect, cute design and great translation for beginners. Gifted to my mom for Mother’s Day, she raves about the filament app that goes along with this Bible to help you better understand the text! 10/10. Great for gifting new believers. NLT is a good beginner bible or maybe even NIV.

If you're looking for a basic bible without all the notes/commentary in NLT translation with slightly larger font (10.5pt) then this is a great choice. It also has a super cute, textured cover. Like all bibles that I've ever had, the pages are thin and some text shows through from the backside; if that's an issue for you, just stick a half piece of solid white paper behind the page you're trying to read and it helps a ton. In the back, it has Life Application Topics too. I like when a bible has that little "ribbon" bookmark, but it's not a deal breaker that this bible doesn't have one.It also works with the Filament Bible App, which I'd never heard of. I haven't tried it yet, but it says "The Filament Bible App illuminates and amplifies every single page of the Bible. By simply scanning the page number, it instantly delivers helpful, in-depth content centered on the passage you are reading. Study notes, devotionals, videos, profiles, interactive maps, and more enable you to get the most out of your time in God's Word."

I recently purchased this NLT Bible from Amazon, and I’m genuinely so happy with it! The New Living Translation is incredibly easy to read and understand, making it perfect for both daily reading and deeper study. It really helps bring the Scriptures to life in a clear and relatable way.One of the first things I noticed was how beautiful the cover is – even prettier in person! It feels thoughtfully designed. The layout inside is also very clean and readable, which makes a big difference during longer reading sessions.This Bible has already become a part of my daily routine, and I can tell it will be with me for a long time. Whether you’re new to reading the Bible or looking for a fresh translation, I highly recommend this one!

This Bible and the app that it comes with is so amazing. The letters are big enough to easily read. The app is so a great bonus. I appreciate the ways you can dive deeper into study but looking at study notes, maps, or even videos. Please get this Bible!!!

This Bible is absolutely perfect, easy to read and the app really helps explain the chapter you just read. I love it if you just started reading this Bible, this one is great to keep around.

Personally, NLT isn't my main translation because I'm not a huge fan of the " genderless" push in this translation. However, it IS a really good translation for back and forth studying, IMO.The Bible itself is beautiful. The cover art is engraved and has the soft leather feel that I love.Here is my opinion of this Bible:Pros:- It is a nice soft cover with beautiful floral engraved.- The translation is great for Bible study, especially if you find certain passages confusing in other translations.- The text IS bigger than normal Bible font. Despite what half the reviews on here claim, this isn't small font. It's not super large, but compared to my other bibles with regular sized font, there is a noticeable difference and this one is a bit easier to read. ( See attached photo which compares this Bible ( left) to My NASB (Right) )-My copy arrived complete with no errors in printing or missing books ( as described in other reviews I read) Galatians and Ephesians are both in this Bible, and my Revelation book is complete.Please note that this is NOT a Catholic Bible and never claimed to be. You will not find the extra books of Macabees etc in a standard Bible. If you want those books, you need to look for a Catholic specific Bible.Cons:-The pages are massively thin. They are basically tissue paper. I am a huge fan of the thin " bible" paper, but this is next level thin. The pages are constantly sticking together because they are so thin. I haven't tried a highlighter on them yet, because I'm 99% sure they will bleed thru. I'm honestly afraid to put Bible tabs in this Bible as well ,for fear they will be too heavy for the paper and rip it. This feels like a design flaw to me. My NSAB Bible has thin pages that are twice as thick as these and the Bible is pretty much the same thickness as this one, so there really was no reason to make pages this thin other than the company being cheap.-This translation omits verses. ( I knew this beforehand, but it's still a con imo.) I hate that they do this. NSAB, For example, leaves the verses in but marks them so you know they were added after the original text was written. I like that much better than having to search in the tiny writing at the bottom of the page to find what shouldn't have been removed in the first place. If it is important enough to keep its verse number, it's important enough to stay in the main text. But, enough said there.The Bible DOES have those verses in it, they are just down in the tiny writing " Translation notes"* See attached photoOverall, it is a really good bible. It's easy to read and hold, etc.The app that goes with it looks nice, however, it seems to be hit or miss when it comes to scanning pages. I haven't spent a lot of time on it yet, but so far it seems like a nice tool.Thought I'd be returning this Bible after I read thru the reviews, but after receiving it, inspecting it, etc It's a keeper for me.

Best NLT bible to have! I love that the words are legible to read and it’s packaged so beautifully. Not heavy to carry at all. And of course, because it’s pink.
