This microphone is excellent! The audio quality is great. I have it sitting on my desk about four feet away and it picks me up clearly at normal speaking volume. I have tried other low cost usb microphones and this product is much better. It is more expensive than other low cost products but worth the investment, for a quality product.

The quality is impeccable for the price!! I got this for a friend because I like it so much and they sound amazing. Theres one mute button that's very quiet if you do decide to mute, there's 360 audio pickup but the primary side picks up the best. The only downside would be theres no mount option, unless you make your own or find a way. It picks up audio up to 3 feet extremely well.

Considering that we got $30 shotgun mics a couple years ago that have studio quality sound, this thing is pretty pathetic at $50. My husband is an audio engineer/recording engineer, so he knows sound. This is basically a toy.It's a sleek looking toy and it does work. But the sound quality is like a cell phone, not a true microphone. For some people, that's all they need so this might work for you. Since not all regular mics can be plugged into consumer electronics like this one can.But I still think it's a little pricier than it needs to be.

As a desktop mic for Zoom/Meet/Webex meetings and/or video gaming during off-hours, this mic performs well, offering above average recording quality for streaming services/conferencing software without picking up loads of static or background noise. The focus is on your voice so long as you're within range and facing it.Features:The mute button is handy as I've used it when gaming and/or in meetings as a failsafe in case I manually forget to enable push to talk or mute in software. The mute button is a bit mushy though but it works. The USB-C connection means I'm not worried about a proprietary plugin and can connect it easily to my gaming pc or work laptop. I did notice a few issues though with the usb-c coming loose so I'd advise making sure you have it in a secure spot with some slack in the cable before a meeting.Audio Quality:The mic itself works best when directly in front of you within 2-5 feet. You'd be really pushing it at the 5 feet range in my opinion though as I've had friends comment they can't hear me or I "sound terrible" when talking from even 5-7 feet away (not facing the mic). The actual recorded/streamed sound is pretty good though and I've gotten compliments on discord and xbox that my voice sounds great compared to when I was using a bluetooth headset or the webcam mic. Since I've got loads of white noise in my room that means it's doing a decent job of focusing only on my voice.Overall if you're looking for a slightly above average mic for work conferencing (1 person) then the Neat Skyline mic will work for you. Just remember it's really only for desktop use and seems to be targeted for use in conferencing software/streaming services rather than for static recording.

Better than our laptop mic, especially when laptop's whirring cooling fan is active. On family video calls, people have said it is ok.

Neat make great gear & this is no exception. Works as expected, simple, great design and looks fabulous on your desk. Highly recommended
