TACVASEN Men's Tactical Hoodies Windproof Military Fleece Jacket with Zip Pockets

I normally buy the 'leading brand' of outdoor clothing and wanted a new fleece. This looked interesting and at a good price. I bought it, knowing I could return it with neither cost nor quibble, should it not be as described. This is, beyond doubt, the best fleece I have ever bought! The cloth is thick, making it warmer than any other fleece I have ever bought (quite a few). The quality of the fabric and stitching is excellent. There are numerous handy pockets: I think seven (unless there are more I have yet to discover. It is slightly bigger than I anticipated but fits well, particularly over other layers. The hood fits well and is adjustable. Despite being a Chinese brand that I had never heard of before: this is great quality and value for money - big brands beware!

It is pretty water resistant, but obviously not waterproof. I quite like the hooded cap, as it keeps the rain off your face. Its pretty warm, but not too warm, so a thick jumper may be additionally advised on very cold wintery mornings. The pockets are brilliant too. There are two interior deep pockets inside. A zipped pocket on the chest, which isn't large, but I can keep a tin of mints and wireless headphone case inside, so its fairly roomy. There are pockets even on the arms where I've kept things like pens inside and two usual zipped side pockets. It really is very well thought out. These are like gold dust. I suppose the only negatives are that the zip is on the wrong side, which is a bit baffling and unfortunately no sherpa lining for those cold winters...Now if they corrected those small negatives then that would make the product 100% perfect and give it 5 stars.

Best clothing purchase in years. Keeps me warm, ears too when it blows in East Anglia but can unzip down to keep cooler into spring. NOTE: It IS NOT wind proof. I would not want to stand on prow of ship in howling gale for long in this. But good enough for an hour or so walking down to freezing with 2ibd. Which is what I wanted all along. It isn't lined. Pockets are massive and u can fold a plastic bag in 8 and stuff behind pocket on inside when walking. Pockets can hold a folding umbrella fine too. Looks smart enough to be used outside and not look like a thug but casual enough I can use it everywhere a proper jacket would feel hot, sweaty or simply too over the top. Imho. I got sand which is a light brown more than yellow. Perfect. Retired for summer after 6 months but love it. Especially at the price.

I find that the design for these, that although maybe a size larger than advertised, is exceptionally good. The pockets are positioned well and are nice and deep. The quality of the fleece is excellent. It provides a good level of windproof-ness and is pretty warm. It is well made and feels vey comfortable on. I would certainly recommend buying these if you are looking for a good quality fleece that, in my opinion is far better than the much more expensive Baerskin (which I have also purchased but do not use), but would also advise that you buy the size smaller than you are. (I am usually a large but I had to send that back (with no quibble) for a medium which fits me perfectly.

There are lots of similar jumpers on Amazon, this TACVASAN jumper is by far the best. I am 6 foot 2, 15 stone, very long arms and 42-44 chest, a medium fit is FITTED. Room for a jumper underneath, room for a tac-vest, but will be very tight. Medium was a little bit short on arms, but this jumper has Velcro straps that tighten sleeve to wrist; if you have tactical watch or gloves on, not noticeable. LARGE would have been too baggy for me on body, and sleeves would have been too long, so medium was best pick. Material is good, has two layers so it’s extra warm and waterproof-ish. Hood isn’t too bad, nice and snug, obviously likely larger the size the larger the hood. Very happy
