ethirteen LG1 Chain Guide 32-38T ISCG-05 with Bashguard Black

Instructions are pictorial only, but intuitive. Getting the back spacing correct is absolutely imperative! Setting the guides up in their correct position is a must. I figured it out, but I took my time and I’m fairly good for a home mechanic. If you’re not sure, you will want someone knowledgeable to check your work. For example, my crank was bumping the top guide at first, causing resistance every 1/4 turn (see pics for better understanding on that). Once I got it set right and took it out, it was perfect! For someone who’s installed one of these before, I’m sure this would be an easy installation. You can see in the pics why these full guides are critical for DH bikes… the last owner of my bike replaced the original guide without a bottom roller, and that caused a few bites to be taken out of my swing arm… mostly just paint luckily. This unit got tested on my first ride and everything met and exceeded my expectations, including the bash guard. Excellent purchase! Highly recommended!

This product is quite a nice one to have. I bought this a number of months ago and have used it quite a few times, meaning ive bashed it into a number of trees I've ridden over lol. My mountain bike was a bit odd yo mount it to because i only had 2 of the 3 holes needed but it still fit and worked. Overall for the price its a good investment, i can say its the best one on the market for the money but its worth what you pay.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my neighbor, who was appreciating the one I have on my own bike. The design gives a lot of mounting options, and he was able to install it himself. It's a great alternative to a big-ring replacement bash-guard. Light and strong, and helps with chain alignment.

I had my local bike shop install this so I'm not sure if it's easy to install or not. It does look good on the bike and it works with my Eagle GX 1X12. I just recently got the bike and the trails aren't open yet so I can't say how well the bashgaurd workks yet.

If your serious about a Chain Guide/Bash Guard, you cannot go wrong with e*thirteen's LG1 and LG1+.Definitely recommend to the serious rider.

the chain guide part at the top does not align properly and will not fit down onto the chain and chainring...the plane is way off... there is no lateral adjustment which is necessary....the bash guard and the tensioner are fine..but I have no chain guide
