Good value
A bit of a shipping delay but that doesn’t effect the kayak itself. I have a few friends who paid much more for their kayas and I don’t see much more those kayaks offer. The drive system is a bit stiffer than others but it works well. There may be a way to adjust the drive system that I don’t know about to be fair. The area that I have used the kayak on definitely is pushing the limits of a kayak and calmer or lower current areas would be much easier to navigate. An anchor is a must if you ask me for fishing or you will spend all day trying to peddle and stay in the area you want if there is current or wind. Also know your physical limits I had a few friends as they say barely make it back after peddling all day.

Cannot hold a straight line
The closest places to use these two kayaks I bought are either Newport Beach Back Bay, or Dana Point Harbor. What me and my son found when we tried them out was it is impossible to get these kayaks to track a straight line for even one second. It takes constant adjustments of the rudder control which is exhausting and futile at the same time. Even down wind and with the current these kayaks can't track a straight line. We were exhausted after 100 meters and we are both in great shape. I was told by customer service to glue a skegg to the front of the kayak which didn't work and made a mess of the bottom where I was directed to glue it to. There are no true flat areas to glue the rectangle flat skegg part, so even with bricks to hold it down, it lifted and left gaps. What a mess. And this was the suggestion from BKC customer service. They obviously are aware of the problem with these kayaks tracking, but they keep selling them to unsuspecting public.

Very bad service maybe a scam!
Over a month late still no kayak, the only way to contact BKC is email because there phones are down. Called the shipping company they gave me to places it might be but can't confirm. Also they won't deliver to my address and want me to drive 68 miles to meet a driver at a gas station to pick it up. I think this is all one big Chinese scam!!!

Love this kayak!
We bought this for my husband and there is not one thing he does not like about it. He’s out fishing in it every chance he gets. The pedals make it easy to fish since you’re not having to use the oar.

Great kayak. Great customer service.
Awesome kayak! Amazing how fast it goes with so little effort. Very stable in the water. I like to fish and this kayak gets me up close with stealth. Highly recommend.
