Nice job Skil/ Bosch Corp. !
Just purchased this saw, have not used on any major project as of yet. I did run it through a few test runs. The blade and shoe plate are true & square right out of the box. Lightweight and well balanced very impressed with the all magnesium construction. Glad Skil is expanding their Professional Grade saw line and their new logo and look is impressive if that counts for anything( it does !) . The bevel adjustment did feel a little stiff, I'm sure that will improve with usage. The cord is extra long, strong but still flexible. The sawdust is blown well away from the cut line too. The saw is clearly made to compete with Milwaukee's Top selling Tilt-Lok saw and Makita's pro magnesium saw and should do well in the market once word gets out that Skil did not make another DIYer saw and this is a serious professional model ! . The Diablo blade that's provided with the saw is a very good blade that glided through hard 2x4's and provided a super clean / smooth cut and well worth the extra $10 it costs over the same model saw that's sold without a blade. Looking forward to using this on a project that will test it in more area's. I will be surprised if negative issues pop up on this saw.

Fantastic Saw!!!
Love this Saw, it cuts fast, clean, with precision, and glides easily, easy to control. Dust blower clears cutting path effectively. Ample cord length. This is the best Circular Saw I have ever used! It's well built and feels like high quality. I'm not easily impressed but so far I'm impressed with this Saw! I highly recommend it to everyone who is looking for a good durable saw.

Skilsaw Stay True.
I’ve had the Skilsaw with Magnesium plate and motor housing for a few months and it’s my opinion that this is a top tier circular saw. I am a professional carpenter, worked with my father as a framer for years and now I mostly do remodel/home renovations. We used to use Makita circular saws exclusively on my dads framing crew until he saw the lightweight skilsaw at Home Depot for 75.00. He bought it and it quickly displaced the Mikitas due to its weight and price point. The makita saws we were using go for around 140.00. This model skilsaw is a little heavier than the lightweight model due to the motor housing being made of magnesium and not plastic (resin) but the magnesium motor housing is also supposed to add to the life expectancy of the tool along with adding to its heft. If you want a saw that is top of the line but priced like it’s second tier this is the only saw for you.

Best circular saw under $100 bucks?
My old 2hp sears craftsman Is still working, but brake nearly worn out and very noisy, so wanted to treat myself to a new one. Tried this SKIL saw due to rave reviews here and elsewhere. I am glad I did. It’s hard to find anything not to like with this saw.I guess the only negative I can think of is that the left hand grab handle is off center left. So you can’t hold back the blade guard with your left hand for that delicate or plunge cut you will want to make. There is a cool video in YouTube where a guy builds a new blade guard retractor arm that solves thus problem

great tool!
A beast for the work, cuts perfectly, is quite accurate, does not bog down with the usual yard stuff like 4x4s, 2 plus inch old doors with or without a solid core, will go thru wet, soggy lumber. All in all a great tool at a very retiree-friendly price !

Very nice saw. I'm really enjoying it.
This Skilsaw sidewinder is a quality product, nice solid shoe, reliable adjustments, good cord, nothing cheap about it, common sense and thorough manual, diablo blade, no case. I recommend it. If you shop around you can get what I consider a very good price of around $100. Delivered. I paid $105. in March 2021.

A little false advertising.
This was supposed to come with a Diablo blade and instead was received with a Skil Saw blade instead. I have used Diablo blades and they perform great. Not sure how this Skil blade will perform.

Was worth the money.
I'm in my 60's now and have worn out two circular saws having built a lot of stuff. (B&D, Craftsman) Decided to spring for a "Nicer" saw this time. First project with this Skil SPT67 WM-22 was an 8 ft work bench and some garage shelves for my Dad. This thing is quiet by comparison and is so smooth and accurate. I didn't know what I was missing because I haven't had a circular saw of this caliber. Was worth the money.
