It works
I injured my MCL doing BJJ, my knees had been good but starting a combat sport in my late 30s undoubtedly has its risks.I thought my knee would heal on its own and didnāt rest it properly. Iāve always lifted weights and could work around injuries, a bit different at BJJ.My knee was getting worse and worse and I was just working through the pain hoping it would go away.So I got this book, didnāt really stick to it and didnāt see much change, didnāt stop BJJ until my leg was absolute ruined - because Iām an idiot.I couldnāt even āair squatā, I couldnāt stand up quick from sitting and was struggling with stairs, I couldnāt run, what a horrible feeling at 38.So I committed myself to doing this program several times a week, largely because I couldnāt do much else.Iām happy to report my knee is so much better, I can āair squatā again, the mobility is coming back and I donāt doubt Iāll be back to BJJ and weightlifting in no time.Iām pain free in my day to day, I was in pain driving or just sitting.Ultimately I still need to build up my strength but the difference is night and day.Itās not a quick fix, you have to actually do the program. It takes like 15 minutes. I do it while watching TV or before/after an upper body workout. There are some moves that feel amazing that Iāll do (elephant walk has helped me massively) at random times in the day.Well worth getting.

It's made a huge difference
I saw a YouTube video of the author as a guest on a well known health channel. It made sense to me so I purchased the book. The physical book is short in content and almost pamphlet like in quality . I suppose the content is the paramount thing though.I'm a 61 year old male who'd been suffering significant knee pain despite xrays showing only mild degenerative changes .I've always been physically fit and not overweight but had had to cease my lifelong jogging habit a year ago.I started the first five main knee over toe exercises (no equipment needed)and the backwards walking. Three weeks later I'm quite astonished how my knees have improved. My quality of life has gone up and I can now go for long daily walks without pain. Who knows I might tentatively start up jogging !I found traditional knee exercises of some use but they're based on the theory of strengthening the supporting muscles round the knees. The knee over toe approach is different ,it works on strengthening the opposing muscles and it works .Update.....I've continued with the backward walking (ten mins) and doing the first five exercises daily. My improvement has continued and after barely six weeks I tentatively started jogging again with no reaction. It's been transformative .

Massive help
Excellent process. My physio put me on to it after ACL & PCL surgery. As they used my knee tendon to tie the ligaments my rehab was sore and slow.3 weeks after following this process i was right up a munro in snow storms, albeit using walking poles!Liked it so much i signed up for the online course which is also very cheap and full of top tips and processes. The instagram accounts are also full of excellent content.Highly recommend this book but especially the processes

Good content
While the format is a bit more pamphlet than book the content is very good. These are very strong exercises but if you follow the clear and easy to follow instructions you have complete control so you go as far as is right for you at the time, extending into them as your strengthen and loosen up. Iāve been doing these for a couple of weeks and already feel the benefit. Quite honestly, if Iād been shown these exercises about 30years ago Iām pretty sure I couldāve avoided the knee surgery I had then. Iām sticking with these exercises from now on though as they have definitely improved my knee stability already so that is something Iām keen to continue. Doctors/medical professionals need to be prescribing these exercises as Iām pretty sure in many cases they would either remove or reduce the need for medication and/or surgery which has to be a benefit to the individual with the dodgy knees and reduce the burden on the NHS.

Excellent little book!!!
Super easy to read and understand, detailed photos and good explanations for the reasons behind each exercise. I popped my left knee doing Judo in 2019 and had pain and joint limitations, but I've been doing this program 3 weeks now and can already feel a huge difference. No real pain anymore and increased mobility, absolutely chuffed! ššŖ
