Haven't seen this movie in 25 years, what a great movie for kids.

Good movie new dvd

I'll keep this short and sweet. Seeing this movie at age 9 had a major impact on the course of my life. I paid extra at the local tax collector's office to have a personalized license plate on my car that is a reference to The Neverending Story. For me, It was that good of a movie. Obviously not everyone will love it as much as I do, but if you enjoy movies such as Willy Wanka, The Goonies, and The Princess Bride than is is right up your alley. To me, the Neverending Story is the pinnacle of live action kid's movies that adults will also enjoy . Watch it with your kids - you will be glad you did!

DVD does not work. This is what appears.

The DVD that I purchased is incompatible with most of the equipment in the United States including mine. I simply took the first one listed on the Amazon site and purchased it, and it never occurred to me that the DVD would be incompatible with my American. It seems that the seller’s position is that the non-regional format was listed on the website and since I never took the time to read it – too bad for me!

The Region code on this DVD was not compatible with our region; North America, Region 1. We had to reformat our PlayStation to play the video. We found out the hard way that we then had to reformat again to play our other DVD's, Blue rays and games. We also found out that this can only be done so many times before our PlayStation gets locked forever.
