Kesoto 2X Waterproof Motorcycle Tool Tube 84mm Diameter Storage Canister for Motor Riders Motorcyclist Accessory

So I bought two of these at $3 each 15 years ago for storing my tools and a Laphroaig bottle. I mounted them under my hard side bag racks. They worked great, especially for times when repairs (punctures, lubes, etc. were needed. The Laphroaig came in handy afterward, for a job well done. Then during the last trip, someone screwed with the cap when the bike was parked near the hotel entrance, but they didn't fully attach to the tube. The cap came off somewhere on the trail, but luckily, the tools remained snug within. They didn't find the Laphroaig (thank God). Since these tubes are still cheap (not $3 anymore), I decided to buy a standby couple in case I need to source another cap. Worth every penny.

I had hoped these would tuck away somewhere in my luggage area on my motorcycle. They are bigger than I expected, so you have to be imaginative on where you put them. I haven't tested their durability, but the seem adequate for a fuel bottle or some light supplies/tools.

I really like this as it gives me a place to carry my tools on both my bike and my tractor

There was a hole in the bottom of one of the items. The quality of the item is poor in my opinion. I wouldn’t want to carry my tools in it and have it mounted to my motorcycle. For fear it would break and all my tools would fall out.

These were decently priced and are good but not great. My main complaint is with the screw on caps. They don't align very well and barely catch on to a small portion of the threads. The cap seems slightly oversized don't align well and easily cross thread. Once you get the threads to loosely align, If you apply too much pressure they will somewhat slip the threads and pop off or back. I found removing the rubber seals seems to help a little better with thread engagement, but defeats the purpose of sealing the tubes. I do have a better quality set of storage tubes made by a different manufacture, which I was able to compare these to.

Not the highest quality and can be difficult to screw the cap on without cross threading. Didn't cost much though so the value is good.

Bought to store my registration on my trailers. Works perfectly.
