Highly recommend. I use these for devices that need high speed transfer or data - like hard drives or peripherals like my Stream Deck. They work very well, and have excellent build quality.

I was having issues with lower quality cables not carrying the digital video signals I needed. This startech cable put an end to that immediately. High quality and excellently fast speeds.

I have a Dell C1422H, which does NOT have USB video, only HDMI over USB-C. The cable which came with the monitor is too short for what I need and this thing works. I am quite pleased with the quality and we'll see how it works over time. I don't know if PD3.1 is supported on specifically an alt-mode cable, but if it is, that would be the only gripe. I wish more vendors made alt-mode complaint USB-C cables because I would simply replace everything with it instead of one for power, one for video, etc.

I've really liked StarTech.com's products over the years, from disk stations to cables, and I'd usually don't mind spending a little more for theirs. This is the first time I have to complain because of the poor packaging, this cable is left with a _forever_ bend in the middle. The cable works so far, but I had countless unpleasant memories with cables with similar issues in the past where they all tended to be problematic around the deep bends.
