Yes, wok fine last about 6- 8 months

No good. First clip just bent so had to use 2nd clip which did exactly the same. Complete waste of money.

Owned the Brabantia bin for twenty years before the catch stopped working. Easily installed this replacement. It worked well for a couple of months before failing. I am now on about the fifth replacement; they last one to three months. I have managed to extend the life of a couple of them by lubrication with graphite and reassembly.

I thought this clasp was the problem but it turns out it's a bit of plastic broken around the spring mechanism at the back of the lid. It was easy enough to replace.

Works well. Would have liked the tool to take out the old one included but it can’t fault the product
