Q: Has anybody tried it to repel ticks?

We live in New England where ticks are a constant worry. I have never set out to use this only to repel ticks, but more so as a general bug repellent. She spent six consecutive days at Girl Scout Camp over April break--four for camp lead activities and the last two for mother daughter camping--used this bug spray, and didn't come home with a single tick. The mother of a girl in her camp group found three on her daughter one evening. When we were there over the weekend for the mother daughter campout we used it and didn't bring any ticks home. I realize this is all anecdotal evidence, so take it for what it is worth. I love this bug spray and have sworn by it since my daughter was an infant and she's now almost 8. I've never found anything as safe and effective as this.

Q: What are the ingredients?

Active ingredients are oils of soybean, citronella, peppermint, cedar, lemongrass and geranium. Inert ingredients are water, glyceryl stearate, beeswax, vegetable glycerin, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate and citric acid.
