Yep, they work
A simple product, made well enough. They fit an iron properly and stay on well enough. No amount of heat from the iron created any problems. They are a bit coarse and stiff, but they do not scratch the covering material. The only problem is that you probably only need one, not a bunch of them. I have heard that baby socks will work as well, but it is hard to find them100% cotton.

Not as durable as I would like
This sock is custom made for this particular heating iron. Unfortunately for the price it doesn't really last that long. I'm talking maybe through one roll of monocoat. Because it is the custom fit for the iron, it is that much more convenient

Versatile heat sock
Fits a variety of sealing irons to protect the finish of the covering material and the iron. Just soft enough to even out the pressure put on the covering so it goes on with a smoother finish.
