Nice portable little radio.
Very nice little radio and the batteries last awhile. I use standard alkaline batteries in it. The tuner is easy to use and has stops in it at each frequency which is nice. Has a VERY LOUD alarm which suddenly will wake you up. Has a sleep timer, preset stations you can set up and a nice amber display. You can check the time at night by pressing the button under the power button. The only thing I don't like is that while you're playing the radio, you always see the station but no way to see the time or go between them. What I like most is that this radio has both AM and FM channels and a nice frequency spread so you can get pretty much any station. Has a good built-in antenna and even picks up NOAA weather radio. Fits in your pocket! And even lets you use plug-in headphones (there is no bluetooth connectivity with this unit). If you want an inexpensive, easy to use AM/FM/Weather radio that fits in your pocket and has some classic features often missing in newer radios, this is perfect!

Very small
Probably my fault for not drawing the size on paper. It’s very small but mighty. It does exactly how it’s described. It’s just SO tiny. But should be great if you have to pack it and take with. It also has a clock. The dials are small too so needs small fingers

Very Nice Radio for the Price. FM & WB Good. AM Not So Much
I have the black model. The construction is very solid. Shirt pocket size. The controls are well labeled and work as they should. 30 memories each for AM and FM. I wish there were more for FM in that it is very sensitive on FM. AM reception is poor. I only pick up the five or so more local stations. One star off for this. I pick up the local WB station. Another WB radio that I have will pick up a second, more distant WB station These results are with the short antenna collapsed and using the nice supplied headphones. The headphones seem to be an antenna as well for FM. Headphone and speaker audio is loud and clear. .. very acceptable. The various features like setting the clock, using memories, alarm and sleep timer are all simply accomplished. I have not tried the WB alert feature or used it long enough to gauge battery life. So all-in-all this is very nice and reasonably capable radio for the very low price.

Decent
I use this when I sit outside at the drive in. It works okay. Takes a lot of tinkering to get the station perfect. Not very loud though. Some quieter parts of the movie are hard to hear.

Good for just the weather radio alone.
I have plenty of AM/FM radios, and I had my scanner for weather, but I bought this because its much easier than messing with a scanner. One touch to Weather Radio. I am close to the transmitter so I really haven't tested it in fringe yet.UPDATE - After I tested it in fringe. The weather radio seemed to do fine, but the wasn't that great.Geeek Note - It seems to do some of the AM Amplification in the AF Stage. That means , stronger stations will come in louder and you may have to adjust the Volume when bouncing through.

Compact Radio, Good Reception
I thought the first one was defective because it didn't pick up anything on the weather bands. When I got the second one, and it behaved the same, I started thinking.... Started wondering if the metal roof on our house could factor in. Sure enough, took it outdoors, it got a weather band channels very clear and distinct. The "scan" function on AM and FM worked great! Identified LOTS of local stations, very solid reception on nearly all of them. This will serve as a terrific little backup radio for staying in touch, whether at home or on the go. Just know that metal construction, isn't it's best friend.

Nice radio
Radio fits my current needs. Haven’t had it long enough to fully assess the device.

Good value for its functionality, light and small, but volume adjustment is poorly designed.
Overall, it is as described and very good value for the price. I would buy it again. I have a better expensive CC Crane radio that cost 7x more, but I wanted something lighter (when riding a bicycle I damaged multiple earphones with an accidental jerk). This radio is light enough, and I don't have the same problem. In and near a city, the reception is strong and clear (both FM and AM), sound quality is good enough. The HOLD button works Ok, it is very important, but it's purpose is slightly defeated by a relatively poorly designed volume wheel, which is not recessed and can be easily bumped (but Ok, if the radio is carried on its side with volume up, e.g. in a wide pocket). The battery life is adequate (at least several hours with earphones), but, oddly, the manual recommend alkaline batteries rather than now main stream rechargeable (e.g. lithium hydride) AA batteries (they work, although less charge is shown to begin with). Although the radio looks dull and flimsy, it seems to be fully functional and can be recommended as a lightweight pocket model.

Best small radio ever
It comes with headphones. It has a digital channel search, automatic search works great. Volume control is great. There is even clock/alarm option. Also you can store 3 stations for quick access for AM/FM. Weather radio works. Nice digital backlit display. Needs 2 AA batteries (not included). Very light. Sound quality is good, max volume is good. Search no more, this one is great.

Perfect
I ordered this transistor radio in preparation for the next extended power outage which will inevitably come as our storms strengthen where I live in the North Atlantic. It’s a nice little radio and the sound is actually pretty good via the enclosed ear buds.

Middling
The sound is very tin-can like but decent enough, it has good volume. The weather band had poor reception despite me being fairly close to a major urban area with radio towers. Considering I got for the WB function it leaves me a little disappointed. Overall though you get what you pay for and it's an OK little radio.
