The tolerances on this unit are close. It’s well made but if you’re looking for “free wheeling “ performance this isn’t for you. The unit I received is very smooth and there is no “slop” it’s tight. It spins well but requires constant input to keep it moving. I’m not able to give it a spin so to say. Maybe after some time it will loosen up.

Turned an inexpensive marble disc into a turntable for centerpieces. Spins flat and level, sound is not disturbing. Good quality.

I have purchased several of these. They worked perfect for lazy Susan projects I created for table center pieces. Great thing is you don't have to screw them into whatever you place on top of them. They come with a non-slip pads installed, so you just place the item on top and it rotates easily. Will continue to use these as I make more projects.

This is a solid product. It was very easy to directly mount it to the bottom of a wooden base I was using. However, it turns fairly stiffly. After adding a few drops of machine oil around the bearings, it’s spun a little more smoothly, it is still a little stiff. Decided to keep it though.
