I have no idea what this does.
...but my husband was very excited about it and loves it, says it does things, we had to buy other cables so he could link it and his other pedals together so they can all do whatever it is they do. There's a cheap pack of coloured ones on here for about a fiver that work really well. So the pedal - It was a really good price for the happiness it created. I've asked him, he says its an overdrive pedal with sustain. If you need one of these, this is a good one.

Cheapest Good Bluesbreaker Clone I've found
I have a bit of a thing for overdrive pedals - I have a tube screamer, klon clone, mojomojo, Blues Driver, bluesbreaker clone, OCD, and always on the lookout for different variations.TLDR; this is a great bluesbreaker clone, seems well made, but the toggle switch doesn't seem to do anything.Given its price, I thought I'd give the pedal a shot, and it didn't disappoint. It's a great bluesbreaker clone - matching my other pedal with the same settings. I had hoped the toggle switch would either thicken up the tone a bit (well, it is called Fat!), or make the clipping harder. Unfortunately I couldn't hear any difference - and I changed the gain levels, my guitar tone, coil split (or not) humbuckers.ProsSeems solid (like every micro pedal I've ever tried)The tone is spot on for the Mk1 bluesbreakerCan be used as a clean boost, or give you that "amp just breaking up" roughness (not quite crunch)The cheapest bluesbreaker pedal I've found to dateConsWhat does that switch do? :)

Works WONDERFULLY!
WOW! Straight out of the box, transmitter and receiver both already charged up, (USB CHARGEABLE) switch them on, then one long press to synch them up and KERRRANNNG!! I'm cordless - at last! Fantastic! 2 mins is all it took me and now I can roam around and twirl around with no pesky trippy uppy leads! And there's no latency - certainly none I can detect and I play fast licks - not a note was delayed, it was and is perfect.Great price too for lead-free freedom. Both send and receive are really light so you don't feel any extra weight on the guitar. The way you can angle the jacks is just brilliant. Can tuck the transmitter outta sight or trun it round so you can see to switch it on and off. Move over Ritchie Blackmore. (Er, I wish!)

Great pedal (though mine was yellow, not green)
I need to kick off this review by saying that I haven't got (or had) any other tremolo pedals to compare this one too but. . . TLDR; I don't use Tremolo all the time, but when I do, I'll be using this one :).If you don't know what a tremolo pedal does, you may want to read up on that, but in summary, it makes your guitar go louder and quieter, and you can control the variation in volume, and how fast it varies.First things first, as you'll see from my photo, my pedal is a rather dashing shade of canary yellow, as opposed to green. I preferred it, but ymmv.ControlsThe depth knob controls how big the variations in volume should beThe bias knob controls how much of the time it should be louder vs quieterThe speed knob controls how fast it changes volumeProsLike other micro pedals I've had, it's a solid metal enclosureTrue bypass footswitchPaint quality feels great, and barring accidents etc, I'm sure it will keep looking goodThe range of the effect you can get is really wide - from a nice subtle (which is what I've got dialled in here) pulsing, to racing fast.It draws minimal current (26mA).It doesn't add any noise to my signal chain.ConsThe only downside to this pedal I could find which is common to all micro pedals, is that it can't be powered by a battery - but this isn't an issue for me.Overall, this pedal has continued to vindicate my buying of cheaper pedals and I'll definitely be buying more.

Fantastic 70s & 80s Marshall style distortion
TLDR; The Marshall plexi was an amp with iconic distortion style, and this does a great job of plexi / JCM800 style distortion.I've now got quite a few micro (this size) pedals, and looking to put together a whole board made up of them to take to jamming sessions. The next step was to find a distortion pedal which could give me the same iconic distortion I get from my Angry Driver (which also costs substantially more).ProsLoads of headroom (more so than my Angry Driver on the JHS Angry Charlie circuit) - the two pedals sound pretty much identical with these settings.Great range from low gain (almost bluesbreaker-y) up to screaming hair metal. Up to around 9 o'clock, this gives a low gain overdrive kind of distortion (and at around 8 o'clock it sounds like a cranked bluesbreaker). As you get to 9 o'clock it turns into a stadium rock kind of feel, and then from 10 o'clock and above it goes into chugging distortion. It wasn't for me as you approach the maximum distortion levels (but then I don't love the DS-1 or HM-2 either so YMMV).Like every micro pedal I own, the build quality is really solid, and I like the Chinese themed paint jobThe bright switch lightens up the tone pretty well - you may be able to accomplish the same through EQ, but it's handy to have. It makes a similar difference to the tone as when I coil split my humbuckers.ConsI really couldn't fault it.

Just a bit more...
Got this to give a couple if 5w valve amps a bit of a push. Qorks really well and the treble and bass pots help balance things up when swapping from single coils to humbuckers. Excellent value for money.

Does the job well. Could do with more mA options.
This is the second board I've had from Amuzik as my son 'borrowed' my other one. This is slightly different to my older power brick due to the number of 100mA connections in relation to 500mA. My older one also has a 300mA option which this one doesnt. It's a shame because I should have checked as ideally I needed a 300mA for my looper pedal.Luckily enough, you CAN get away with it without frying any pedals. If you only use a couple of pedals then connect the looper to the 100mA and if using loads of pedals, plug the looper into the 500mA.Whether this makes sense to an electrician or other guitarists I know not!It works for me so I'm sticking to it.At the end of the day it's a 9v so the mA are less important than polarity would be. ☄🔥
