Warm up over time, but it will activate in 15 min or so
I stuck one on my 8 year old in the back of her shirt for soccer practice and she said it helped running around @ 49-50 deg F. I think she will use more in the future.As for me:I placed one on the back of my shirt and it helped but did not feel hot enough. So, I removed it and stuck it on the front of the shirt with a jacket outside. I were outside in the same temperature (49-50 deg F) and it got hotter and hotter and kept me warm if I pressed it against my body… I stuck the hot pack on my shirt and not on the skin.It needs at lease 15 to be activated and then in the warm mode for a couple hour. After 3 hours, it was hot and nice. Again, only feels hot when pressing against the body. Otherwise, it is still very warm sitting on the shirt.It is 4-1/2 hours since I opened the package and it is still very warm.Purpose: I bought it for monthly cramp and I think it will help. For the cold weather, definitely will help, too!Overall, I am pleased with the products. Would buy them again.

Can't live without these
These work well and heat up pretty fast. Just don't put it on your skin you will get burned. They heat lasts about 12 hours. Would be good for camping or even for muscle pain

Slow to activate but WARM
I used these while hunting yesterday and they took a lot longer than 3-5 minutes to start producing heat but they got really toasty after a while and kept me comfortable for the 3 hours that I used them.

Total waste of money! Opened quite a few and most didn’t warm up at all! DO NOT PURCHASE! Reported to Amazon!

Hot hands and Body Warmers
I bought this for my son-in-law for Christmas because he is an avid hunter and I wanted him to be warm, and he loved it. I wish I had remembered to take picture of him opening gift but I forgot to. But his face lit up so I know he enjoyed getting them.
