Feel the breeze! Phenomenal shoes! Great value Couldn’t resist a second pair to keep clean.
You can truly feel the breeze through these shoes with average to thin socks. I love it. My feet are always hot and sweaty. Which Segways into my only minor issue with the shoes. And to their credit, I believe my sweaty feet wear out MOST insoles more rapidly than other folks feet. lol! Also I think the insoles are designed to let you feel the ground after they’re “broken-in”, which is what I want. And they are available for replacement for like $2.99, so I’m not complaining. Just informing. The rest of this long review is all positive. The insoles are my only small con, see the last photo. They halfway wore out in 3 months of extremely heavy use. So maybe it’s almost a feature and not a flaw. You want to feel the ground? Keep your insoles. Don’t mind feeling it or not? Buy replacements. I’ll keep mine till they fall apart. These shoes have acted as my one and only pair of shoes. I mean no other shoes used at all except slides occasionally for convenience. Any time I actually want to move around or walk/run efficiently, these shoes and only these are worn. I can stop on a dime/turn on a dime oh so comfortably. I’ve been working and exercising both indoors/outdoors alike, and enjoying leisure, day in and day out in these shoes. This is my second pair! I wish the grey was darker but who cares. They are THAT good. The other ones are still great. I’ve just dedicated them to the work at the construction site and the outdoors. Because they are SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE than work boots(obviously).I love sneaking around(OSHA) in them on the job site. Another worker was walking by and my feet were at his eye-level. In passing, he poked my big toe and laughed! Lmbo. You’re technically supposed to wear puncture resistant, steel toed boots. But I’ve been doing end stage HVAC construction so it’s easy to stay safe. Just watch out for occasional nails and metal shards. I bet I’m more comfortable in my actual physical shoes than anyone else there!I wouldn't even call this a gripe, because I’m keeping them. But the “dark grey” color is not dark. I’m tempted to return them and get black with gum sole, but I don’t like gum soles so I think I’ll keep them. They look great. Love the black strings and blue accent design on the sides. Such a great pair of shoes for the price. Even if they did cost more from what I can tell, they’d be worth it. Perhaps I’ll review again or update how long they last.[Amazon prompted to review the “slipperiness”]They aren’t slippery at all to me! A 26 year old, average weight male. I went from Addidas with a sole smooth as butter! I would slip as soon as there was enough rain to coat the bottom of my shoes. So immediately after it started raining. These have phenomenal grip. I use them for every day use rain or shine. They have also performed wonderfully on my trail hikes here and there as well! I love feeling the rocks, and tree roots beneath my feet. You’ll even feel the subtle crunch of leaves and pine straw beneath your feet. They fit great too. No surprise. I have worn US size 11 in men’s for all my tennis shoes since I was a teen. I didn’t check a conversion chart or anything. Just ordered 11s and they fit exactly as I would hope. Couldn’t be happier.

If you like minimal shoes try these!
These are my new favorite running shoes. I've been using these for a few years now. I trail run 35 miles per week on a mixture of dirt fire roads, gravel roads, or rock/dirt single tracks in the mountains. Most of my runs are 10-16 miles in length. These are my favorite shoes to run in. I wear toe socks inside them and have never had a single blister. The soles are surprisingly durable. In one of my pictures the shoe on the right has 614 miles on it (I GPS log all of my runs). The shoe on the left is newer and has 85 miles on it. For general running it is usually recommended to replace your running shoes after 300 miles but since I do minimal running, and there isn't much support to begin with in these, I run them for about 600 miles before using a new pair. The soles would wear out much faster if you run on streets or pavement, but I use mine exclusively for trail running. What I like:● Really comfortable, allows feet to spread out naturally.● Super easy to clean. In my second picture I am hanging them up to dry. After each trail run I hose them off and hang them to dry. The next day they're good go! They dry quite fast if you hang them in the sun.● Very durable sole. I run mostly over rocks and dirt in the mountains and the wear on them is minimal considering the distances I put on them.● The upper material really allows feet to breath and keeps them cool.● They really grip rocky or dirt trails, and running up or down mountains, they never feel like they are going to slip.Things to be aware of:● Since the upper material is mesh your feet are going to get wet if you run in heavy rain. That would be the case for most running shoes in general.● There is zero ankle support and the shoes are thin. If you run over very sharp rocks you are going to feel it....solution...don't step on sharp rocks.● If you are not used to minimal running shoes, start out slow with shorter distances, and gradually build yourself up. A high cadence, low impact running style is very suitable for these type of shoes due to their minimal design.I would highly recommend these for both minimal trail running and hiking (carrying minimal weight). My feet are just about size US11. In all my other non-minimal running shoes in the past I would get size 11.5 but in these I found that size 11 fits perfect and my toes have plenty of room.

Good for hiking in dry conditions.
We went on a couple mile hike to devils kettle in MI and these held up good, had good grip and the fit was extremely comfortable for the day. They seem pretty well made but once they get wet they stay wet unfortunately. Walking in the river wasn’t a great idea but I wanted to see how they’d hold up. Grip went out the window as soon as they were wet and I tried to walk on rocks. You can feel all the stuff you step on but that’s also the point of getting barefoot shoes so don’t expect them to feel like work boots..

It’s good shoes, not that wide though
I would suggest buying a half size bigger because the arch support is tight. Otherwise, I use them for daily use and gym use. Works quite well.

Good shoes.
They are good but should have bought size 10 instead of size 11. They are a little loose. I like the shoes and will buy size 10 the next time.
