Thrilled with these. Very bright light, I use it to read at night & other things with no other light source. Love the red color & look of this little retro lantern. The dimmable feature lets you fine tune the amount of light you need/want. Easy to insert batteries. Easy to carry & move wherever you want it. Very light weight. I use Amazon Basics batteries for all my battery needs. They are long lasting & priced great.

These lanterns are very light weight and small, just what we were looking for our 5 year old to use in his tree house. All plastic with a small handle at the top. The light is dimmable which we really liked. Very thin plastic, the base of one arrived cracked off on the side, but we chose to keep it because it did not cause a problem with function and we didn’t want to wait for a replacement. If you are looking for something substantial, this is not it, but it worked for our needs and my grandson is very happy with it.

Powers out can’t see we’ll get a few of these I have one in every room of my house for hurricane season!! Battery operated good adjustable light source from low light to bright!!

both of them arrived in good condition and working. I ordered them as backup lights in case of power outage, and specifically to be used with disposable batteries in case of prolonged outages. These fit the bill well, with adjustable brightness. The level of brightness seems to start very faint, then gradually increase to about 30%; keep going and it suddenly goes to full brightness. In order to continue gradually increasing, you have to use very faint touch. They are definitely cheaply made, completely plastic. However, that is the point. To be cheap and serve a single purpose. If I wanted a solid metal and heirloom product, then I would have spent way more on such a product. Cannot speak to durability, but they stayed on for over an hour without trouble when testing, and now sitting in my emergency drawer.

These little lanterns light up a large room, are lightweight and easy to carry. I have one in every room as PG&E cannot keep our electricity on during hot days.

I ordered these mainly for the dimmer and because they are battery operated. Aside from the fact the bottom chipped on both right out of the package when I was putting in the batteries. After one use when I came back to use them again after less than 3 weeks, they didn't work right. Changed the batteries but the light was super dim and wouldn't get any brighter. So while not very expensive, it shows.

They are smaller than I thought they were, but they’re very powerful. I really like using them
