Difficult to integrate with alex

Good app and very easy to set up. Use them all over the house. Normal energy consumption of our entire 4 bed house is less than 500 watts an hour

These were meant to be a replacement for a smart bulb that we had in the bedroom for the last 18 months.I thought I was setting it up wrong as the bulb just kept flashing, but when I tried it in a light 2m away from the router, it worked fine. Taking it back to the bedroom light, it just flashes away again, although Alexa will switch it on and off. The bedroom is almost directly above the router.

Unfortunately, it didn't fit my light fitting. so I had to return it.

Using the bulbs means you don't have to use any other form of control and they work well with Alexa.

The bulbs do their job but I do have a few niggles, they're the first smart bulbs I have upgraded too so I am unsure if this is all smart bulbs or just these.Firstly, the brightness is very good, they light up the room perfectly, however, I do find that they are less good for when you specifically want them to be dim. For example, I will ask for them to be set at a brightness level of 1% but they are still quite bright.Secondly, I found the setting up of them fairly difficult and they seem to disconnect sometimes too. Infrequent enough to not be too annoying but certainly annoying.Thirdly, I can always hear a slight buzz coming from the lamps (this might be a lamp issue rather than the bulbs as technically the lamps are always on) but it can be annoying when trying to sleep.Finally, there are a few colours you can choose from however, in contrast to point 1, if you choose a colour then the room will be very very dark, there is no way to get them to be brighter. We have resorted to changing the lights to a colour option when we want dim lights which is a bit annoying.Overall, they do do the job and they can be connected and controlled by the Google home so I am fairly satisfied with the purchase.

Delivered on time, worked perfectly

Shame 1 bulb failed after 6 weeks out of a two pack.At £7:50 a shot, then not good value.Maybe a 1 off failure, but could not be bothered to complain.
