I purchased this item to heat up a suspension part on my car that was difficult to remove. It worked perfectly! I was able to direct the flame exactly where I needed to, which was impossible with my other torch head that fits directly on the MAPP gas bottle. Fast Amazon delivery as well...A++++!

Im kinda impressed. This was the cheapest pencil torch I could find and It has more power than my more expensive all brass torch heads. You can see by the photo the tip does get bright orange so time will tell if it will last or keep up the impressive flame but you can see it produces a sharp long flame and the photo doesnt show the orage part of the flame but its longer. They claim some 3600° but I gotta call BS on that cuz the tip would melt off before getting there. I noticed that they use a solid cilinder with a tiny little hole vs what the others use is a small very delicate mesh for building up the gas pressure. Ive ruine several torches trying to clean that part up so this one might last a little while. I also noticed that head pivots. Its not super loose so it doesnt flop around but its kinda usefull to flip that flame without moving the whole tank. I havent yet tried to melt anything with it just yet but from the look of that flame its going to be no problem at all.

This propane torch head is solidly built and lights up instantly with the trigger start . no matches needed. The flame is adjustable and gets hot enough for soldering and small brazing jobs, and I’ve even used it for grilling. Fits securely on the propane tank and feels durable in hand. Great tool for both work and home projects.

worked smoothly and well right from first. have had good experience with the long stem propane torches for yard work burning, but the igniters failed on both. decided to try smaller torch which should work for most purposes. will see how durable it is in occasional use.
