Poor gesso coating
I am using the porduct for almost one year n purchased it repeatedly. And here is my review. Product has just one layer of gesso. That's why the surface is very grainy .It's really hard to do oil portraits on it because you can literally see the grains poking out of your portrait. It doesn't look good. But best suited to acrylic landscapes.However you have to use atleast 3 layers to cover up your canvas. It happens because of poor gesso coating. I posted one of my oil portrait and another acrylic landscape to show the difference. Beginners and casual hobbyist will like it. But not for serious painters. I couldn't find a better option on budget here . All amazon canvas rolls are poorly primed. So I guess I will have to keep buying it.
