It's a Lee mold...It works well and releases well. It's not finicky
Lee makes some great stuff. I like the company and their philosophy. These molds work well. I have made over 100 slugs. I have yet to shoot any of them, but they look pretty...bold releases well, and the spru plate shears fairly cleanly.

Just follow the instructions TO THE LETTER, and...
It'll work like a dream! My first time casting anything from molten metal, and it much easier and came out much better than I could have hoped. Followed all of the mold prep directions, used only pure lead, used flux to get rid of slag, preheated the mold and poured quickly. Of the 30 slugs that I cast, only two had any wrinkling at all, and that was only because I poured those two too slowly. Always loved Lee products (have tons of Lee reloading equip), and this mold lives up to the quality I'm used to from Lee.

Great Value!
Love this mold! If you use 2 cycle synthetic motor oil as lube on it, it'll last forever!

Worked great...for two days.
So I bought this slug mold and went right to work with it. In just two days I made over 500 slugs with it. I was using spray silicon about every 30 slugs to keep everything lubricated and wire brushing the keyways to keep the slugs smooth. I was also pre heating the slug mold by resting it on the top of the lee pour pot to start the process because after the initially heating it holds enough from each slug to release properly. Well the 2nd day in I was making some more slugs and when I opened the slug mold and tapped it with my gloved hand (they fall out very easily so be careful) I noticed the slug looked odd on the way down. Well I stuck my hand down and picked it up and it was the slug mold center insert that provides the keyway on the back of the slug and makes it sealed to hold the lead. Looks like there was a crack in it from when it was cast so I probably just got bad luck. I contacted the company and amazon and they sent me another one the next day. I would highly recommmend this slugmold. Will update further if I have any problems with the second mold.

Great mold
Great way to save on high ammo prices. Buy a 100 rd box from Walmart for $20, melt down the lead and repack the shell with the slug. Be sure to have it well preheated, and blacken the mold with a lit candle about every 10 rds to help with the release.

Your 12ga will become your favorite gun in your safe!
Works great! I have taken 20 dollar bulk birdshot packs, emptied the shot out, melted it down, casted slugs in this (easy to use) mold, then (though frowned upon in the reloading community for good reason) drop the slugs back in the birdshot hulls and recrimp. (DO AT YOUR OWN RISK). Not only am I turning $20 boxes (shot) into $100 boxes (slugs) these have super low recoil, accurate (3" groups at 65 yards through a smooth bore 870... standing), these things obliterate targets. Bottom line....I have a decent collection of firearms including multiple AR platform rifles and after buying this mold along with a lyman melting pot....my Remington 870 is my NEW favorite out of the bunch!

Exactly as advertised!
This product is just what they describe. The Lee Precision 7/8 oz slug mold works great. I've made about 20 slugs so far. No complaints here. One thing, buy a ladle. It is essential to good castings. You have to be able to pour quickly, and accurately to cast a nice, uniform slug. I got the cheapest hot plate and tablespoon I could find at Walmart. It ain't ideal, but it sure as heck works.
