3.0 Premium Bathroom Swivel Shower Chair Bath Bench with Back, 360 Degree Swivel Seat with Locking Mechanism

I’ve had several shower seats over the years, and they met my needs at the time but were nothing special (no arms or backs, and certainly no swivel seats). As my physical condition has declined, it is now too unsafe for me to try to step over the tub to get in the shower. My bathroom is too small for a sliding bench type of seat, so I started looking for alternatives. When I found the MOBB Premium Bathroom Swivel Chair, it appeared to be the perfect solution except for its high price. After reading the reviews, I decided to go ahead and get it despite the price.When this chair arrived from Amazon I was pleasantly surprised at the easiness of the assembly. Typically I have to have help putting anything together. I had read the instructions described on Amazon before ordering and it looked simple enough, but I knew from past experiences that reading instructions and actually doing it could be very different. This wasn’t and I was able to put the chair together in just a few minutes! The only issue I had was when I was getting the legs to slide into the proper attachment to the seat and lock into place. I just didn’t have the strength to do it fully so I did what I could then had a neighbor complete it by pushing the legs in until they locked into place. It took about 2 minutes!Once the chair was in the bathtub (just a standard tub with stationary plus separate handheld showerhead), I tried swiveling the seat and it all worked just fine, but the swivel knob stuck out so far that it almost touched the back wall. I was afraid of possibly having a problem with not enough clearance space to swivel all the way around without the knob bumping the wall so I took off the armrest on one side, and that gave the little extra space needed. I can always put the armrest back on if needed. I would like to see just one adjustment: a few extra holes on the legs so that the unit could sit a bit lower if needed. Otherwise, this seat is near perfect and miles better than any others I’ve seen.Being able to sit on the chair with my legs outside the tub then swiveling around to get in the tub is so much safer than trying to step over the tub, risking a fall. Once in the shower, the seat is so comfortable with its cushioned non-slip surface. I now can take a leisurely shower by myself and not worry about falling. The sturdiness, high quality, and versatility of the MOBB Premium Bathroom Swivel Seat definitely justifies its higher price and makes it one of my best purchases on Amazon!

I ordered this for my 91 year old Father in law. The previous chair I ordered was not sturdy and we needed to replace it ASAP. I ordered this chair and I can wholeheartedly tell you that it is SAFE, and will help make showering a good thing. Not at all wobbly, very sturdy and easy to use and put together. There is a pull out handle on the one side of the seat. You can pull out to rotate the chair. It will then lock into the next position. The arm height is perfect to help getting up from a seated position. The chair height is adjustable. I've taken a photo to show the set up in my shower for my 88 and 91 year old in laws who are staying with us. He needs the chair and she uses the bars to stand. I have ordered a bunch of medical type aides, as you can see in the photo. Highly recommend this chair. It's worth every penny! Don't skimp on safety!

This chair is very sturdy and very well made and has a high comfortable back and comfortable seat. The great advantage is the swivel feature. My 94 year-old Mom is recovering from hip replacement surgery and this chair is perfect for her. I have her sit in the chair with her back to the tub with the chair in the tub which is a standard size tub. Then I pull out the lever while she or I lift her legs over the side of the tub as I swivel her sideways. Once she is facing the shower the chair locks firmly in place - absolutely no slipping. I also ordered the Aqua Sense shower head attachment which was advertised along with this chair on Amazon for about $20 and it is the perfect solution for us. It can hang on the clip above the showerhead and it is so easy to hold in my hand to help with bathing and washing her hair; She would not be able to do this without the chair and showerhead attachment with the very long hose with a very long reach which never tangles up. It also has a feature to turn off the water from the hose until ready to rinse. I place a bath towel on the chair seat for comfort and remove to hang to dry afterward.

I'd give it 5 stars if not for the foam coming partly off the seat back after the first shower. It works very well, swivel is smooth and chair is sturdy, simple to put together too. Had some difficulty getting 2 of the legs to fit because rubber edging was too thick, preventing any of the 4 legs from fitting into the sections where they lock into the seat.Be sure to measure carefully before ordering as it is not returnable.

It was tough to get myself to spend the money for this chair. But I needed one that was higher than most so I got it. I'm glad I did! I have a different shower chair that I used for a prior injury. But after having hip reconstruction surgery I needed a taller chair because I couldn't sit low, and I wanted one with high arms to help me sit and stand. The swivel feature was not something I was specifically looking for, but I sure am glad I have that feature also. This chair is extremely stable, so easy to get in and out of, and easy to swivel. The feet suction to my solid surface shower stall but move easily when needed. Everything about this chair is great. It was easy enough for my husband to assemble. It is plenty tall enough for my need. I don't even have it as tall as it could go. I'm so glad I forced myself to buy this chair! I've used it for five weeks now and every day I've said I'm happy I got it.

Pros: Sturdy, easy to assemble, easy to rotate, fits in standard tub and fit in walk in shower.Negative may be transferring onto it. We used this due to a sports injury to leg that required non weight bearing. Had upper body strength to use arms to stand on one leg at tub, use arm handles to slowly sit down. Needed to put equal amount of weight on both arms to transfer/sit so it didn't tilt.It worked perfectly for our needs.

I bought this swivel chair for my wife so she wouldn’t fall in the shower . I had to remove the shower doors then add curtains. She had fallen twice and we had to call for help to get her up as we both not so young anymore. She just loves it and safety and security that it provides.

Wonderful chair, so easy to assemble I couldn't believe how easy. Fits in my tub great and swivels with ease but when I am sitting in it, my knees get in the way of swivel, the knees stick out too much to clear the soap dish which sticks out and the tub lip on the other side. I didn't take that into account. Other than than, it has a great look, very comfortable to sit in, the back is the right height to give support when leaning back to rinse out shampoo from my hair. Appears it will last for years because the materials used are watersafe and holes in seat drain water so none is left pooling. If I had a walk-in shower I could swivel to my heart's content, but for now I will find creative ways to swivel, or else simply step out onto a towel, swivel the chair, and get back in on the other side. Easy-peasy. I love it the chair and am glad I got it.

product was easy to set up. only concern is that you have to be careful that if you use as support to stand up you make sure that you have both hands on chair otherwise you could tip over sideways.

Disliked limit of swivel to 4 fixed points, each point being a 1/4 turn. I removed the pin and now can swivel to and fro in any direction I wish. The pin removal should be made an option.Regardless of pin and that one dislike the chair is excellent and very easy to use. I highly recommend it for any one who may be a little unsteady.

This chair is adjustable for tall people to sit comfortably and make it easier to stand up. I dislike the swivel pull latch as it hard to pull out for seniors and while it snaps in ever quarter turn this is somewhat annoying when you want to shower back to front. as you have to reach around to help senior. I would prefer there to be a free swivel 360' position and just a lock to front facing. Chair feels slightly wobbly on the highest setting but once person is sitting, it is very stable. Maybe useful if there was more than small holes in seat for water drainage, if there was an actual cut out to wash bum/pelvic areas while seated.
