I bought a thrift store recliner, perfect for my living room.My wonderful son in law mounted a piece of plywood to the chair frame and then attached the swivel attachment. It was not hard to do at all. Very sturdy.Even the dog likes it.My chair reclines and swivelsI am a happy camper!

We had long regretted not getting our expensive leather chairs without a swivel. Thought we'd try these. What can I say? Perfection. Excellent quality and with a short tutorial on you tube we now have two swivel chairs. Great product.

We have installed the chair base and so far it swivels smoothly and is quiet. The price seems to be fair. I followed the reviews and this one seemed to have the best ones. At this point I have to agree with them.

I bought one of these previously, but had to return it. So I ordered another one, which fits perfectly. The bolts provided were not long enough, but thankfully I found some in my garage that would work.

Perfect fit, easy install.

DO NOT ORDER THIS!! After 3 months, the ball bearings started to fall out. A year later, no ball bearings left when I lifted the recliner. Piece of junk!

Smooth turning...so easy my tiny cat keeps making it turn with me sitting on a big recliner I fastened it to.

The original swivel part of my favorite chair in my bedroom broke. The chair is in perfect condition other than that. So I was looking to buy another chair, but didn't want to pay the price, considering the chair itself is fine. So it occurred to me to see if I could repair it and Amazon to the rescue. True, as another comment said, it does not come with screws or directions. But because I was replacing mine I already had the screws, nuts from the broken one and the install was common sense. You do need a socket wrench to make putting the screws in easier. It only took a few minutes to do. If you are going to use this to covert a non swivel chair then you will need to do more, and supply the screws and nuts yourself. My favorite chair works perfectly now !
