This pen is made from individual wood that was dyed, laser cut and then assembled, glued and then finished by hand on a lathe to a smooth wood finish. the pen does take a standard parker style refill that can be found on amazon or any other office supply store, so this is not a pen that will work now, then 5 months down the road become a desk catcher.
