Can this fryer be used outdoor?

If you have electric -- - I have used it outdoors with no problem. Obviously you need electric and you need to protect from elements and water.

Why can’t I turn up the temperature? The light just turns off.

The green ready light comes on when the oil has reached the desired temperature. If you set it at 300° and wait, the green light will come on when the oil reaches 300°. If you then dial it up to 375°, the green light will go out until the oil reaches 375° at which point it will turn on.

Can you cook a 20 lb. Turkey in it?

Lol. No. You need a turkey fryer. You couldn't even fry a 5 lb chicken in this.
