Possible counterfeit
***Update*** 11/9/2015-- I ended up ordering some 33x30s to see what I'd get. I first ordered another color, and they were of very high quality and fit as they should. Huge (positive) difference in material as well. So I ordered two more pairs in this color. Initial impression is very good. Currently drying them and will add to this in a matter of hours. My initial thought is the 34x30s are knock offs and the 33x30s are not. I mean, think about it.... the amount of 34s sold vs. 33s must me 10-1. They ***Update*** 10/31/2015- My third pair of jeans arrived. I had kept the second pair to compare. The second pair seemed more authentic, good material, but the size was still way too big. Especially in length. Enter the third pair. They showed up and the first thing I did was wash and dry them. I then laid them out and measured the inseam. Compared to the second pair they were shorter, but not much. I then got out my last GOOD pair of 181s purchased right here on Amazon last year. They were shorter than the second and third pairs. Bottom line, even the third pair is not consistent and the inseam measures longer than 30". They are also big in the waist and butt/thighs giving that sloppy 'these pants are too big' look. Not the 'loose fit' look that's supposed to be. I don't know what is going on here. Lucky? Amazon? Amazon resellers who ship to Amazon? I contacted Lucky again and they wanted me to jump through way too many hoops I just don't have time to do. I would steer clear of these. I mean, THREE pairs ALL DIFFERENT, yet all the labeled the same size and style. **UPDATE*** 10/20/2015 -- I emailed Lucky and they confirmed Amazon LLC is a licensed reseller of their products. They also thanked me for pointing out there were some knock offs being sold. I took a chance and ordered another pair, letting Amazon know I knew for sure the first pair were fakes. Sure enough I got the real deal. I would make sure you demand an Amazon LLC order, and if something seems off it probably is. CONTACT LUCKY, AMAZON, AND DO AN EXCHANGE IN THAT CASE**** Long time Lucky owner, even several 181s. These jeans not only showed up way off on the color ( I bought the exact same pair back in March) they were HUGE, and, felt like cardboard. These HAVE to be counterfeit. Not only are they HUGE, after one wash and dry cycle by themselves I washed and dried a second time with other like color jeans and they were bled all over by these jeans material. I've asked for an exchange to see what happens with the next pair. Very disappointing.

Slipping Quality?
I've been wearing Lucky brand for 20+ years now. The crotch on these started to wear and split (because the material is SO thin) within the first few wears. Now, I've had the crotch go out before, but usually after a couple of years of wear, along with the knees. This is a first. And, the pants are a bit on the loose side, so it's not from them being too tight.I'll give it one more try - and am sorely tempted to visit the Lucky store to see if there's a noticeable difference between online and store. This would be my 2nd pair on Amazon. As I mentioned, these are just noticeably thinner all over, perhaps the Dellwood color is the wrong way to go? It could be to achieve the color they have to over-process the material. I have to admit, I've never really paid attention to the colors and I don't remember the retail stores differentiating. I've gotten some pretty light/worn versions before, but the wear has been normal all over.Anyway, of all the places to go out - this is not particularly desirable! A rather expensive pair of work/gardening pants. YMMV. Next pair I'll go for a darker denim and see how that works.2 stars at least for this pair, and that's generous.

Really bad manufacturing
I have the exact same jeans at home, purchased from a local Lucky Store. I wanted a couple more pair, and thought it would be easier and faster to just order online. I selected the exact same make and model, but when I received the jeans there were at least 2 inches smaller... yet it states the correct size on the label. Upon further inspection, the leather label and lining are different as well. It's as if the manufacturing is cutting corners, and much cheaper than my previous pair of the same type. I attached a couple pictures to show the difference between my current pair, and new pair order online. You can see the 2 inches difference in size, yet both are 34"x32". The new jeans seem like really cheap quality.

Not what they used to be.
Horrible quality. Lucky brand used to be really good. The stitching on these pants is cheap, so is the material. I own a pair, same style and size that is two years old and made much better than these. Looks like they are trying to maximize profits at the cost of quality. I've added photos as an example. Do not buy.

Good jeans, but misleading picture
I've owned at least twenty pairs of Lucky jeans over the years. These are just what I was expecting in terms of fit and comfort. However...When I saw the product picture I got very excited--unfortunately what you see is NOT what you get. Luckies used to use two belt loops at the very back of the waist. This was great as it would help the a leather belt to not develop a bend in that spot. The product image shows two loops back there. Unfortunately, there is only one. This has been a common problem with Luckies for the last couple years. I thought I had finally found the pair that would go back to the good ole days. It was not to be.Add that second belt loops in back and I'll add the final star. I really do like Lucky jeans the best.

These are really lovely jeans!
I have been buying Lucky Brand Jeans for many years now after discovering them whilst on a Business trip to California. Buying them online is fine as long as you are confident you know your size.

I used to wear the old Levis 569 which were loose in the seat and thigh and were a perfect fit for me
This is the second pair of these jeans that I've ordered. I used to wear the old Levis 569 which were loose in the seat and thigh and were a perfect fit for me, but they have long since discontinued this product and what now gets sold as the 569 is not longer the same cut. Anyway, the 181's are a perfect substitute for me. Other reviewers are correct, for whatever reason, these are a little longer then a 34" length which is perfect for me since I actually wear a 36" length. The jean material is a little thin so I would not recommend these as an everyday work jean. However for going out in the evening they are great.
