SIGNI 0.1 micron poly diamond stropping emulsion suspension 30ML (160,000 grit)

Did as instructed with the compound, I rubbed it into some balsa wood and let it dry. it stropped up my straight edge razor very nicely and cut hair off my arm no problem.

I was looking into emulsions for putting a finished edge on knives when Signi's 0.1 micron stropping emulsion was offered through Amazon Vine. After it arrives, I followed the instructions, simply applying it to a piece of balsa wood which resulted in a smooth, true surface. It worked as advertised and put a fine, mirror finish on my sharpened knives. Though Signi emulsion isn't a product I'll use every day, I'm happy to have it in my sharpening toolbox.

I'm using a dab of this on a rock hard buffing wheel on a low speed buffer, and getting better measured sharpness results than any other "stropping" compound than I have tried -- and I've tried a bunch. I also like it very thinly applied to a true-balsa wood strop for hand stropping, just a couple stropping passes at the end of sharpening.

The bottle is different from the picture, there is no label on it. The bottle is soooo cheap and thin... that when you go to twist the top off, the bottle squishes and feels like you will pop it in your hand. The cap also over threads and pops off extremely EASY. I had to wrap the threads in Teflon tape for the cap top to stay on! It also Isn't a spray as listed, it isn't a pump as listed either!!! The emulsion is made with oil because I put it on a jende nanocloth strop and it almost destroyed my strop! It's not water because it doesn't want to dry and it's extremely GREASY. It took 13 times of washing my strop with warm water and dish detergent... and soaking the top with 99% isopropyl alcohol! This was a complete rip off and a total waste of money! Unless this seller wishes to make this right... iam gonna say DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! ITS OVERPRICED TRASH! buy gunny juice, it's the absolute best!

The advertisement page shows a different type of bottle and references a sprayer and truthfully I am pleased with the bottle difference. The emulsion comes in a substantial 30ml bottle with a nice flip lid that is secure and seals the small opening for dispensing the compound. The label references a spray but I think the consistency may be too thick to spray properly. I applied it to a fine leather strop using small drops in various places and manually spreading it around. It is easy to see where it is and how thick it's on the leather. Trying it with a couple different knives (kitchen and an EDC folder) it made quick work of putting the final polish on both knife edges. I am pleased with it.
