Q: Are the built in drum loops simple hi-hat, snare and kick? I find it tough to loops without too many embellishments.

It's a basic drum loop pedal with classic effects. we also have another two upper grade drum loop pedals which can be found in our store.

Yeah, Please use a negative center power supply with sufficient current.

Q: Is it anywhere as good as qtro n?

No it does not come with an amp cord
