stupid sharp
i read a lot of the reviews for the tool and laughed my self silly. the tool works great is easy to hold and comes stupid sharp to a point that i warned the guy it was given to not to cut himself. i have been installing flooring for over 20 years and any REAL installer knows these tools are not for ACTUALLY cutting flooring. if that is the understanding you have then you need to step away from what ever you are trying to install. this is a quality tool. the only minor complaint i have is its a little stubby for me personally. im a pretty big old bot and like my tools JUMBO size. that being said im not using the tool and the person who does is does not have this issue.

Sharp!
I got this specifically for cutting vinyl flooring. It worked great! I did end up stabbing myself a couple of times, completely my fault for not paying attention and rushing a little. The only fault would be you have to hold it just the right way to have it cut smoothly (but that also could be because I wasn't experienced in using it). I loved the big non-slip handle, made it easy to hold and use. Also the sharp, pointy tip is great for opening boxes!

Worked well for my needs
It's quite hard for me to explain what I used this for. Let me try to explain. I rent a small privately owned apartment that is on a lake. The home owners insurance for my landlord requires that the garages here have some of the cement block turned sideways which leaves open holes throughout the entire garage. This is in case the lake floods then the building "becomes one" with the lake instead of washing the building out. I was getting birds, lizards, packs of mud dobbers, stray neighborhood cats....you name it, coming through those holes and trashing my garage. I needed something super sharp to cut out foam squares so that I could plug the holes, as they're technically not allowed to be blocked but these foam garden kneeling pads I found at the Dollar Tree could be used because they were light enough they'd still give way in case the lake were to flood up to the garage. The foam was really "gummy" and so a pocket knife, kitchen knife and scissors were not working. I bought this and it cuts through anything, it seems. I now use it as a box cutter to break down boxes when taking them to the recycling bin. I also use it to cut off zip ties for my one car cover and others things around the garage. And although it isn't intended to be used for what I am about to say....I will use it as such if it ever came down to it....I live alone and there are bob cats that can also get into my garage and should one ever feel like I am cornering it or if some crazy person wonders down to my place and I feel threatened, well....it's sitting in the garage for my use if I ever needed to protect myself outside of using it to cut things around my garage.

Cancer and Reproductive Harm label
I am very disappointed. There is a label on this product that states: "Warning Cancer and Reproductive Harm". Nowhere on the amazon page is this label illustrated. If I had seen the label on the amazon page then I would not have made this purchase. This is extremely misleading, I don't recommend anyone buys this product!
