Works as advertised.
Product worked as advertised no issues expect if I plugged in the cable while it was muted it wouldn’t mute until I unplugged and plugged it back in unmuted but I just leave them plugged in now.

Cable does not last.
I got this as an replacement cable and everything was good for about 3 weeks. Then I didn't have any sound in my right ear. I checked everything else but the cable first since I just replaced it and it was in perfect condition (no bents, scratches, dents, or marks). Luckily my wife also has a40 and I switch the cable on her and my headphones had audio and hers didn't... it's the cable. This is not a very good product.

Showed up at wrong house. Slight buzzing noise.

Terrible product. If you use the mute switch, one side of your headphones will be deafened. Returned the original one I bought thinking it was just a faulty one-off, but no, the replacement I received had the same issue. Overall quality is also very cheap, but I wouldn't have an issue with this if the thing actually worked. What's the point of getting an A40 replacement wire if I can't use the built-in mute switch? Unless they address this issue, my advice is to steer clear of buying this (or any product this seller makes).
