DitekDTK-8FF 8 Outlet Strip W/ Rj11 Modular Jack 6ft. Cord

We have used DITEK since the 1990s, Great Products, The DTK-8FF tends to be a bit pricey from some Sellers, But Always works Well and Protects what we need, 2ns Response time, 8' Power Cable, Versital and Mounts Easily on the wall if needed.

We had this same model of surge suppressor years ago -- three of them around the house, along with a couple of Ditek's smaller outlet receptacle plug-ins as well -- and we never had a single problem during all this time with any of our equipment having any problems. (Before this, having used NO surge suppressors in the years previous, we had had a couple of instances of items being damaged or weakened by surges, so we knew that we needed to get surge suppressor protection.)Our older Ditek units badly needed to be replaced due to their age, so we wanted to go with the same kind again because the first ones were so good. (Plus, I was running into all kinds of bad reviews on the other top brands' surge suppressors, saying they had been cheapened over time and now weren't good any longer.) Ditek has since changed the look/shape of the model just slightly, but it's still made right here in America, same as before, and still by the same company (so changeover or buyouts), so we feel secure with our purchase!

Very compact.

Unlike most surge suppressors this one is designed to be mounted on screws. Especially useful on a telco back board or a network closet. Also it will fit the large wall wart transformers with ease, whether the cord exits the side or the rear. The sliding covers on the outlets is a nice safety bonus, keeps the falling paper clips and stuff out of the sparky bits. The cord is nice and heavy, and fairly long at 6 feet. The closest it comes to having a con is the plug is straight, one of the low profile plugs would have been nice.
