Candy CottageGingerbread House

I truely love this candy cottage! I apologize in advance for the amount of pictures but I wanted to show the details. I measured each area panel, alone with the doors and windows. I hope that this will help other viewers. I am turning this candy cottage into a faux gingerbread house for Christmas. Its sturdy and a perfect shade of brown, was easy to put together and I will be ordering more for other holidays. This is an honest review and this cottage was purchased with my own money.

These houses are fun to decorate but the size might be a concern for some people. In addition the house sort of lack the traditional gingerbread house look. It also takes quite a bit of frosting to completely cover the house. On the plus side they are so easy to assemble, clean up and reuse year after year. That means more time for decorating without fussing with unstable houses.

I have given many of these to clients who have children. They are fun at Christmas but also for other holidays. I love that their is a Facebook page with many pictures and ideas on how to decorate it. It can be difficult to put it together but once it is it is great to decorate!

I travel a from another state to celebrate Christmas with our 5 grandchildren. We decorate gingerbread houses every year. Due to time constraints, I don’t have time to “assemble” the houses when I arrive. I was always having to hope that I could get pre assembled houses when I arrived or find them on Amazon and pray that they weren’t broken when they arrived. (Some were in the past)When I found these WONDERFUL high end plastic gingerbread houses, I was elated!!Not only are they a great size, they are sturdy and now I have them tucked away to be used year after year!!!!You won’t be sorry for purchasing these homes!!

Great fun project to share with my four year old and seven year old granddaughters. We decorated it for Valentine’s Day, and will do it again for Easter.
