I purchased this battery and installed it right away. It performed very well but I left for Florida for 3 months and it was dead when I returned and now will not take a charge. I’ve had these Dyson vacs for years and they’re always on charge when not in use and they’ve always lasted for many years.

UPDATE: The seller reached out and sent a replacement in a matter of days. I have been using the replacement for about a week and it’s been working great so far. Changing my review to reflect the willingness of the seller to resolve the issue and make things right.At first the battery worked great. After a couple months I noticed that the battery bar dropped from 3 to 2 realllly quickly while in use, but the machine still worked well. I used it yesterday with no problem, plugged it in, and then when I went to vacuum today it was totally dead. Charger and cable are fine. There’s a quick flash of battery right when I plug it in but then nothing. I can’t seem to find a way to contact the seller directly.

The day I installed this battery, it worked well and showed it was taking a charge when returned to the holder. The very next time I tried to use it, it was stone dead and would not take a charge. The charger tested properly and was delivering full power to the battery, but the battery would not take a charge. This is junk, don't waste your money.

Battery lasted one month and will not charge at all, let alone hold a charge. Outside return/exchange window so I’m just out of luck🤷🏻‍♂️

Battery arrived with very little charge. Not a big issue, but after charging for 48 hours it still only ran for 3 seconds and died. After charging in original Dyson charger for 2 weeks the battery was completely dead and would not charge at all. Get better bang for you buck and buy a higher quality, albeit more expensive battery

I bought this in January 2025 and now the product stopped working and I only had a 30 day return window. Not happy with this product.

Update after contacting the company and sending a photo and explaining the issue, they sent a replacement battery if I added that i was given a replacement as per ther 1 year warranty.Fingers croosed for this one to last. Bought this battery July 27th of this year. To start with it was wonderful very powerful and longer run time. Now it keeps powering off every 10 or so seconds. So really might as well be a dead battery. Very disappointing. Not good value for money, as only lasted 3 1/2 months. Should have paid the extra and got a dyson battery.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!Absolutely garbage product. Battery completely fails within 30 days. Will not charge fully after about 1 use it lasts half the time of the original. I have two Dyson vacuums. Original still works on the other one. Capacity is weak and fails on all metrics. Bought this pice of absolute crap twice for reasons I cannot comprehend. Do not purchase this. Consider yourself warned.
