Minwax 1 qt 70041 Golden Pecan Wood Finish Oil-Based Wood Stain

Minwax Golden Pecan is a really nice, warm wood stain that brings out the natural grain without making the wood look too dark or heavy. The color leans lighter and more golden than many traditional stains, which works especially well if you want a bright, clean look that still adds richness. Application is straightforward. It goes on smoothly with either a cloth or brush and penetrates quickly. Wiping off the excess is easy, and the final color can be adjusted by how long you let it sit before wiping. Dry time is reasonable for an oil-based stain, making it practical for multi-day projects. One thing to be aware of is cleanup — since this is oil-based, it can be a pain to clean off brushes and tools. After proper prepping wood, this stain goes on easy ... Stir, do NOT shake, as that will create bubbles in your finished job Beautiful orangish color ... Love it! Excellent quality ... Used this Brand for many years and projects ... Recommend ... A+++ .

This oil based stain goes on in even strokes and pine wood doesn't blotch after the stain is hand rubbed. The photo shows the Golden Pecan stain on a pine wood ribbons/bows wall decoration made in my shop. I also applied three coats of General Finishes satin top coat.

I restored some Old Rocking chairs and used this. Loved the results!
