Unlike most people who use this as a water bottle, I use it as a juice dispenser. Prior to having this I went through probably 5 different tupperware jugs, through empty milk cartons, and I just couldn't find something I could mix juice or lemonade or iced tea in without having it leak all over the place, or being too difficult to put the ingredients in, or too difficult to clean. As I specifically make my juices using Truvia along with a little drink mix for dieting, I always need a gallon or so made so I don't have to spend 5 minutes making it several times a day.This water bottle is absolutely perfect for my needs, and I know it sounds silly, but for such a simple, inexpensive item, it made me so happy to finally find something that suited all my needs. It doesn't leak. It's reasonably easy to clean. It's plenty big enough up top to put ingredients in easily. I can pick it up after it's full and shake it to mix the ingredients (and get a nice little workout in as well!) together and it never leaks. It fits nicely inside the door of my fridge. And it holds a gallon of liquid, so I only have to make my drinks every other day instead of several times a day.Like I said, I know I don't use this the way most people do, but I'm no less thrilled with this product. It's one of those rare items that underpromises and overdelivers.

I’ve spent so much money on all different kinds of bottles. This is the only one that helps me hit my target water intake and doesn’t have tons of cheesy/tacky markings all over it. Do not put this thing in the dishwasher—hand washing is just fine and all you should be putting in here is clean, clear water. I love the clear design on this bottle along with the straw plus chug lid option. It’s got three different ways to carry with the lid loop, strap loop, and built in handle. I wish it had even less markings (I may remove the brand and time marks with acetone) because I love the clean, minimalist design. Super stylish and functional; this bottle is the only reason I upped my hydration game. Thinking of ordering another one as backup just in case.

I love this water bottle! Helps me drink a gallon of water everyday. The numbers on the side are accurate measurements (yes I measured them). The lid and handle are super sturdy as well as the opening flap. Built in straw is also convenient. Only cons is that it scratches up fairly easily.

Nearly a perfect bottle with an unfortunate flaw. I loved the straw/pour spout, super easy to clean with the wide mouth, great variety of handle options to use and it looks great imo.However the durability just isn't there, a little after 1 month from receiving the bottle a big crack developed along the side and leaked water over the passenger seat of my car. Very unfortunate as I had zero complaints with this product prior to this issue.UPDATE: Company did reach out and offer a full refund, great customer support.

I play multiple sports and in the past have carried 2-3 water bottles with me at a time. I was looking for a large bottle where I didn't have to constantly refill as well as a bottle with a straw... because who likes to dump the whole gallon on their face right? Well I have to say I'm pretty pleased with this bottle. The handle is super convenient and the lid is big enough to put under my fridge ice dispenser. My favorite part of this bottle is obviously the straw feature, but I also appreciate the chug lid and strap carry features. For my first use, I filled it up halfway with water and ice and held it upside down... no drips whatsoever. This is perfect because I will probably end up throwing it in the duffle bag during my commutes to the gym/park, so I can be sure there will not be spills.The only thing I struggle with this bottle is that because the opening isn't big enough to fit your hand through, it can be hard to clean if you're drinking anything other than water... you would only be able to rinse and not necessarily wash the inside with soap. But overall, it is a great bottle for the price.

Bought this bottle for my teenage son who is quite rough with his water bottles. This is the only one that has lasted longer than a year. I would buy this one again and again and again if I needed it.

This bottle was very nice until I put it into the dishwasher one day and it melted the rim as shown in the picture. It said it was dishwasher safe but apparently not! I was specifically looking for dishwasher safe bottle when I came across this but when it melted the rim I became very disappointed in this item. There is no way to contact the seller or get a refund for my bottle this far from its purchase date but it should still have been dishwasher safe without any problems this late in my use of this purchase. I am hoping by posting this review they can at least reach out to me and address my concerns since there is no way of reaching out to them via Amazon. The option is not there anymore. The store has no method for customers to reach out directly to them either. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else's bottle! And please, use caution in the dishwasher since apparently it is not as dishwasher safe as claimed to be.

Why this bottle: I bought this bottle because I drink a LOT of water and was tired of having to refill. Also, bought it because of the large opening. You can actually get an average hand inside to clean it. Fantastic on hikes, can keep my whole family hydrated. Clear plastic means that it stays cooler for longer than non-clear bottles.The good:- The bottle is sturdy, I'm a tall guy so when drop it, it has to fall a long way. It survived the few falls that it got.- The handstrap is really handy and comfortable. It's the first handstrap in my experience where I wasn't bothered by having a gallon (4.5L) of water at the other end of the strap pulling and dangling on my wrist.- Hard plastic that's elastic enough to survive hydrostatic shock from the full bottle fall. Admittedly the falls where few over the course of usage, and I've never dropped it on something hard like concrete when it was full.- Dishwasher safe. I prefer to wash mine by hand so it didn't affect my decision.- Cap doesn't spill, unless you leave cold water in the heat, while it's lying on the side. Rubber seal of the air escape opening is simply not made to handle the pressure of expanding air. Frankly, it's unrealistic to expect otherwise.Cons:- The edges of the bottle opening are really sharp due to the way plastic was poured, making it a hazard when washing by hand. To fix this issue I used a knife and trimmed those edges.- The cap with the straw and regular lid is kind of tricky to wash. You need thin brushes.This is the best bottle that I ever had, I want to buy another one and save it in the storage for the future for when my little one inevitably breaks this one.

My son loves this the bottle. The only negative is that there isn’t a safety catch on the pop-up lid. Twice, when carrying it in a bag the lid opened and spilled water into his bag.

The media could not be loaded. I began searching across amazon for a gallon bottle when deciding to challenge myself to drink a gallon of water everyday for at least 28 days. Having been dissapointed with such bottles in the past which have either melted from hot tap water, smashed easily or just been too difficult to drink from due to a poorly designed lid/mouth, I was starting to give up on the challenge idea.Everything changed when I discovered this bottle. I have used my x-bottle for just over a week now and have to say it is probably the best gallon bottle on Amazon in terms of aesthetics, functionality and durability. I really love the slick time labels for motivation and also the guided measurements - I was not keen on the tacky motivational messages on alternative gallon bottles you see on amazon (messages which often contain grammatical mistakes!).The concept behind the lid design is just amazing - I believe every gallon bottle should have an inbuilt straw just like this as it is just too difficult to drink out of a screw-top/mouth when filled to a gallon! Once I have got through half the bottle, I love the button pop up design as it is very well put together, durable, easy to use and 100% leakproof. Finally, the solid handle on the lid makes it very easy to carry around preventing you from getting sore wrists from holding the side handle on the bottle itself. I literally take it everywhere with me as you can see in my photos! 🙂I initially had a few concerns with the strength of the plastic used for the bottle as it felt lightweight but was reassured by the seller of the quality and also the 2 year warranty on the product which makes the bottle worth every penny. I was told that the bottle is made of Tritan, which is more resistant to fall, impact, high temperature and dishwasher safe. I couldn't really argue with that, though I must admit I haven't tested these conditions out.Overall I am very impressed with the product - I would rather spend £25 on a bottle that is easy to use and lasts long (plus a guarentee!) compared to one that's cheap, unattractive, difficult to drink from and easily damaged. You really do get what you pay for here!

This water bottle is extremely helpful for athletes and those who are active outside for a long period. My 9- year-old daughter loves it. It is large and heavy but still elegant. She likes to have the option to sip from a straw or the chug opening. Very easy to clean due to the wide mouth. Very practical overall.
