Purchased two of these to place along a wall of a garden at our home. Received in perfect condition, quick shipping, not a scratch to be found anywhere. Our intent is to place clematis at the base of each trellis and let the plant climb. The trellis unit (11172M) arrived on time as described by amazon. I rceived two long flat pack boxes. The manufacturer provided detailed easy to follow instructions in each box. The trellis is made of a high quality solid pvc type material, and the plastic is colored all the way through the material. No need to worry about scratches, painting or maintenance. Assembly was quick and very easy, and took about ten mintes each trellis. The only real tools needed are a scredriver/or drill to install a few screws into the units pre-drilled holes.I placed each trellis in its desired location in the garden, and secured each trellis using the provided heavy duty stakes at the base of each post....again, installation could not have been any easier. I highly recommend this unit as well as this manufacturer. Its obvious that they care about their product and have put some thought into a high quality item for the american consumer. Also, it appears asif it is manufactured in the USA.If you are seeking a quality garden trellis that is far superior to that junk being sold in the usual big box stores, then buy this. Prices in stores such as H*me D*pot and L*wes are much more expensive, and they do not sell anyhing ner the qulity of these units. This trellis is available in white as well as mocha. Looks great in our garden. You will not be disappointed in any way. Great item!!!!03/27/13 - After a major spring snowstorm in our area accompanied by high winds, I am pleased to say that the trellis units held up very well, and did not lean or move in the high winds and heavy wet snow. I anticipate they will be in our garden supporting climbing plants for a very long time.04/30/13 - The clematis have enjoyed beginning thier climb up this tall, elegant trellis. The unit still looks brand new, same as when it was taken out of the box and assembled. Their is no change whatsoever in color from UV exposure or exposure to the elements. Still very satisfied with this purchase.

I purchased 3 trellises over the past two years to fill in angled areas on my upper deck. Planted Clematis that grows up them to add color and privacy. There are sturdy, look beautiful and were very easy to assemble. It is easier to assemble with two people, however. I plan to enjoy these for years to come.

This tress is was easy to assemble. It is made well and easy to place in my garden.

ADDENDUM: I just changed the rating from a 2 to a 4. After my son came over, he got the stakes out for me. The reason they were stuck is because I put them in wrong. He also got it in the ground and it looks so much better. It was still very difficult though. I wish it would have come already put together but it looks nice. The 2nd picture is how it looks now.I didn't know that it was going to come in a bunch of pieces. As a 62 year old woman doing this by myself was a nightmare. I could barely get the slats into the holes. Then when I got one side done and started on the other side, the other side would fall out. I finally got it together and used the wrong screws, had to take them out and put the right ones in. The left side of the trellis is bowing and I don't know why. The metal stakes were a nightmare. I put them in and tried to push the trellis into the ground. One stake went way up into the pole and the other one didn't go as far. So I hammered the one stake into the ground and tried it again. The right side which only had a little bit of the stake sticking out wouldn't go into the ground. The left side I couldn't get the stake to go further into the ground. I tried to take the stakes out and they are stuck. So it is going to look like it does in the picture unless my son can help me the next time he comes to visit. I don't know why this couldn't be delivered already assembled. I don't think that the trellis is worth the money I spent on it. It doesn't look that nice and it doesn't seem very durable. Also some of the pieces were scratched and/or marred when I took them out of the box. I wish I would have known how it came in the box because I wouldn't have ordered it. I did read reviews before I ordered it and most people were saying it was easy and that they loved it. Hmmmmm

Went together very easy, no issues.

I put 3 of these up in front of my house to cover a stone wall about 3-4 years ago. They are beautiful. I grow clematis on each one in summer and put wreaths on them during the Christmas season. They look exactly the same as they did the day I originally put them up. They are about 6 inches apart, fastened to the wall with spacers about 6 inches off the wall. It makes all the difference in the world!! Great product!!

Love these trellis’s I have 5 now. Easy to clean and install. No issue with hurricane winds either!

At first I thought some parts were missing but there were on the inside of the supports. I asked Spreetail if there were two boxes and they was back in touch with me in a matter of minutes. Excellent customer service. Went together nicely so looks like a nice unit for the wife,
