Q: Is there anyway I can get this kit in your blue?

Unfortunately these only come in black, because they use a special webbing that's higher tensile strength but thinner so it can all fit into the Retractable housing.

Q: can you remove the static end strap and bolt these down to a trailer instead of having hooks on both ends?

You can remove the strap and bolt this directly to your trailer. There is a bolt hole on the underside of the ratchet housing. However the mounting hardware must be purchased separately.

Q: How many are in a order?

I received 2. Not official and over a year ago but thats what I thought I was getting and received. By the way, I really like them. My other tie downs have sat in a bag since I got these.

Q: is the width of the latch hook option and regular hook the same? or is non latch a wider opening?

The S-Hooks and Latch hooks have slightly different overall dimensions, but have a similar hook opening (1in wide). The latch hooks has a latch clearance of 0.75in.
